   So ordered a philly cheese steak which is normally steak, onion, pepper and cheese but for some reason they decided to add mayo! Now I've never had a cheese steak with mayo before and you really should state that on your description if you're gonna add it, someone could have an allergy and you aren't advertising it correctly. Yes I also know if anyone has an allergy you can write it but unfortunately it doesn't give you the option to leave a note

   Disgusting. Dough for parantha and poori were not cooked and raw. The halwa poori breakfast was bland with no taste, when i callee the restaurant to speak to the manager he put the phone down on me.

   Friendly staff, great service but food wasn’t that great. My poori wasn’t fried properly, it was just uncooked soggy dough. Pancakes were tasteless. French toast was ok and so Karak chai. I will probably go back and give it another try.

   Nice clean place , ambiance good, staff was very friendly, menu good. Had Halwa puri with channa “ bit disappointed as puri was not fluffy as it should be and too thick like paratha, Garam masala on channa was little too much as it killed all the other flavour of spices. Would love to visit again to try other dishes on menu.

   Full Halal Breakfast. Open really early and the owner is welcoming. Had the best halwa puri ever. Halwa has full on ghee/ buttery flavour and the puri is really fluffy, light and most importantly not oily at all. The chana tasted so nice. The paratha tasted is deshi home made ones. Kadak chai served in generous portion. Overall great experience and already recommended friends.

   I found this gem of a place just by chance and was immediately taken in by the ambience. A family run business, where the owners are extremely passionate about their job- evident by personal touches to the decor (hand painted henna designs on the wall), an open plan kitchen where you can clearly see how food is prepared, a warm welcome by the host and best is the choice of both Eastern and Western breakfast, complete with Kadak chai or Lassi!! I cannot recall ever having that diversity. Owners are Muslim, so bacon rashers are replaced by turkey,which I personally thought was a healthier option,but I will always opt for vegetarian anyway. I will strongly recommend this place, not least because it's a small family run business.

   I have recently started going to café chai and what a great new halal café in Thornton heath. Long overdue wait for a decent café in my local area. This is my new go to place for my breakfast! I ordered a full English with a hot chocolate! Tariq is very welcoming and can accommodate to what you want to eat for those fussy eaters! I definitely recommend going there and I will be bringing more customers to him! It’s a must try café. Service and food are really good. Here’s a insta worthy pic of my full English too!
