Lovely little shop with a kind couple running the place. Food is excellent quality. Had the Turkish sausage toastie and have no regrets. Thank you!

Early Tuesday morning, stumbling down Waterloo Road and seeing this charming cafe. Walked on in and the owner greeted me and let me look at the menu which admittedly I spent way too long doing but it happens when one is not caffeinated. Ordered a cappuccino and ham and cheese toasitie, spoke with the owner while all this was getting made and his a great conversationalist. When the toastie was prepped and cappuccino made, I was delighted at how homely both were and delicious. The bread was toasted to perfection, lots of cheese and ham but not too salty. Cappuccino definitely gor bouncing off the walls at work. The place is pristine and cozy. Check out photos and videos. Highly recommend this cafe.

Perfect if you want a bit of variety. Fully English and veggie version went down very well - don't be deceived by the description of 'small'. Then there were pancakes, and Turkish and a Sri Lankan curry breakfast (magnificent). Coffee was huge and magnificent- no airs and graces. Very good value and the style of a traditional English breakfast cafe. Probably 16 covers or so. A proper gem.

Hand down the best breakfast I’ve had on my trip to London. Small place (slightly hole in the wall feel) but owner/cook was awesome and super friendly. Food tasted great!

If you are staying at the Travel Lodge you must skip their breakfast and walk a half block to Mama’s Cafe! Superb food, at a fraction of the price. I had an omelette and hash browns both were perfectly done and delicious! My husband had the big breakfast and cleared his plate.

Best english breakfast I’ve had my entire life. Honestly, I would move to London just have breakfast here everyday. And not only this but the chef should have an award of best Londoner. Gonna miss a lot the great talks we had.

Great little spot! Inexpensive and delish. The gentlemen cook was very kind. Held great conversation with his patrons and that didn't take away from serving anyone else who came in.
