Friendly and professional, honest and extremely helpful. I was given the best advice with my Mini. When I was unable to collect my car due to my mum's Cancer treatment, they kindly took care of the sale of the vehicle. I used to dread dealing with car mechanics, but J E Motors is a pleasure to take a car to. Could not be more helpful and honest with their customers.
I am aware I drive an old car, and after I was promised by some money-sucking scammers I'd get my 2002 Clio as good as new, I believed them. After having my account sucked dry by said scammers, and no jobs done to the car other than a large amount of damage, I got into full panic mode when the engine light started flashing away as I was driving from work. I had no idea what to do as I'm quite famous for taking poor decisions - well, ringing J&E Motors was NOT a mistake. Mark was incredibly friendly and professional. He explained what was wrong with my car so well I am telling people what was done to it, and for someone who knows no technical language that says a lot. He reassured me and found the issue in no time. Dropped the car off in the morning, picked it up after work, now it drives a dream. He gave me a quote, he stuck to it, and by fixing the issue he helped me going back to the relaxed and confident driver I've always been. A Google review doesn't really show how grateful I am. I have a very old car that developed a flashing warning light a warning light and feared the worse, they fitted me in within a day , diagnosed the problem within 2 hours. Called to quote a Very fair price car was fixed by the end of the day. Good service. Good price. Honest Nice people to deal with. Highly recommend.
We were using J and E motors, more than 5 years. Never had problems. Unfortunately, now the personal is rough and unexperienced. They told us what is the problem, but than changed the mind to make extra money. Steering rack needs replacement Offer for £940 in another garage cost less than £360. Please, don't go there. Also, the tall guy with the glasses kicked off my son from the garage. Definitely not acceptable.
Smashed my rear light cluster whilst bringing wheelie bin up drive! That was 22nd December. Needed new unit fitting. Got in touch with J & E motors and they ordered part, had delivered and fitted by 10.30am 23rd December! How’s that for service! Two days before Christmas, expected it to be done mid Jan. Mark and all the staff always pleasant and efficient. Thanks to all, can’t fault you.
Excellent service, went in for MOT and needed work. Quoted a price and final bill ended up lower. All good and recommended garage.
Just simply from a phone call to J&E motors and the helpful tone and response from the young guy who took the call and other recommendations about this garage from a few folk locally I’m Happy to tell my two young sons to take there fords to J&E …aware it was just a simple enquirey but the lad took his time to listen and give feedback …after both my sons experiencing dubious practice from high st so called car clinics it’s nice to give a local garage who from only a initial phone call seem to have good customer care ethics from the get go of just a phone call it bodes well …
