Really good, knowledgable mechanics and wonderful ladies on the reception. Got an appointment and diagnosis really fast and despite such professionalism, don’t cost a fortune at all. Can’t recommend this place enough and I’ll be taking my car here for everything from now on :)
Ive recently had my car mot'd and serviced for the second time at Portside Cars. Prior to my first visit and as a female, I'd always been worried about garages taking advantage of my lack of knowledge regarding mechanical issues. However, the owners Brendan and Emma soon put my mind at rest. A few repairs were needed and I was well informed as to the expected cost, which by the way was quite reasonable. The work was carried out to a high standard and my car now runs perfectly again. I will definately be returning to Portside with any future issues and have recommended them to all my friends. Took my car for a failed MOT hoping that Portside Cars would be a decent garage and they fully exceeded my expectations, I 100% recommend them for any work you need doing. Would give more stars if poss. Took my car to them for a price for some work after main dealer merc failed it on MOT. Portside said they would look and quote for the work. They couldn’t find the issues the main dealer had failed it on. Resent car for a MOT and it passed. Took our older 2nd car when it was due and again really good service and honest which was lacking from the main dealership! Highly recommend Portside cars. I went there based on a friends recommendation.

Graham looks after all our families vehicles for several years now, including a van. Not only bs he a really decent bloke but he is dead straight to deal with., And a true tradesman. Very honnest and always fair. He has sorted issues with vehicles for us In the past that other garages could not. I would not go anywhere else, very trustworthy and reliable always a good job at a fair price. Very highly recommended. You can tell they are a good garage the team are always busy but polite,, friendly and professional.
