   The service is so hit and miss. A coffee shop at a station should have the better baristas due to its location. Most baristas in East Croydon Costa are not up to the standard required for such high pace location, that is mainly serving single drinks. The “new(ish)” staff have been there since last year and it’s still like watching Bambi walk for the first time. If, the till operator/barista taking the order was more focused on getting drinks orders correct, listening to the customers actual order and not assuming, and stop focusing on asking if I want a pastry, this would be a good start. Sometimes they are asking before I’ve even verbalised my order. I understand the requirement for an add on sale but not at the cost of the main purchase. I am trying out the other coffee establishments at East Croydon Station, maybe I’ll be back in Costa one day!!! It would be 2.5 for service really.

   We got a good to go bag obviously to save the environment and save us some money as well of course. When we ‘requested’ if we can be given vegetarian items, we were lectured and scolded and told not to order again. Terrible way to talk to a disabled person

   Terrible service. All staff do not communicate properly with each other. Gentleman who took my order was slow and forgot to tell the barrista my drink order so I was left standing waiting for my drink which I did not receive but paid for and subsequently missed 2 trains and was late to work.

   Very pricey , should get staff discount for working at east Croydon lol asked for her pumpkin spice latte the girl said no Starbucks do that but they have gingerbread and confusing with the Costa app , doesn’t really make a difference

   Nice small place. Just inside East Croydon station building. Mean u no need to rush for coffee in morning. Grab a coffee n have ur journey. Purple of seats inside as it’s small Place. Staff is friendly n cool. Service is quick n fast even though there’s a queue in morning most of time coz everyone love coffee in morning ☕️

   Very convenient to East Croydon Station. Like the flat whites. A bit drafty in winter as some patrons don't bother to shut the door when they leave. (Just avoid sitting right next to the door or dress warmly.)
