   We spent a week in London in August 2025. We decided to try this place because it was close to our accommodation and we wanted to try a full English breakfast. The staff is very kind, the atmosphere is cozy and authentic. The breakfast was delicious (full house and traditional breakfast). We liked it so much that we went back for breakfast on our last day. Thank you for the experience! Oh, and the owner recognized us the second time, which was very kind and a nice touch. :)

   Forgot drinks and took 45 min for my meal to come . Poached egg and avocado on brown toast. Asked for a black tea it came with cows milk . I'm lactose intolerant. Drinks came in chipped mugs and saucers.

It reminds me of my auntie’s café when I was growing up, where good food and genuine hospitality were always guaranteed. The food here is simply delicious. We usually come for lunch, and their English breakfast is a staple for me—cooked perfectly every time. My partner swears by their grilled chicken with chips and a fresh mixed salad, a well-balanced and satisfying dish. Beyond the food, the service is lovely. The staff are attentive, friendly, and always ensure you have everything you need. It’s rare to find a place that combines quality food with such a welcoming atmosphere, but this café does it effortlessly. If you're looking for a spot with comforting food at good prices, excellent service, and a touch of nostalgia, this café is definitely worth a visit!

   I only discovered this little gem a few months ago despite living nearby. Nice people, extensive menu and reasonable prices. You can take your dog in if you sit in the garden area. Nice turkish people.

   Jack and the team are a fantastic, friendly bunch who serve great food. The portion sizes are very generous and fairly priced. The burgers are actually amazing and the best I've had in London. I've just recently moved away but you can guarantee that next time I'm down I'll be in for my burger fix from Mel's. Keep it up Jack and hopefully see you all again soon!

   Day trip to London to collect a vehicle. Random craving on the train up - Eggs Benedict. Didn’t want posh nosh or a massive bill for lunch by myself, just wanted good quality Eggy B at a reasonable cost, and that’s exactly what I got. Absolutely spot on, perfect little greasy spoon café with a varied menu. It’s a winner. £8 with a cuppa. Can’t fault it.
