I’m from Glasgow and this is my favourite caf for a spot of lunch when visiting London. My go-to is their fab ham and cheese omelette which is served with sides of chips and a refreshing simple salad including onion, tomato and cucumber. Lunch here really sets you up so well for the rest of the day whether shopping, travelling, visiting attractions or enjoying some great pubs. Mug of ‘char’ on the side and you’ll be laughing all the way til dinner time. Friendly and fast service, good vibes and a nice ambiance for a chat or a quiet break while looking out the window. Highly recommend.

Very decent greasy spoon cafe. The price is still good and the food is pretty tasty and made quickly. Only thing is the drinks were slow to be made (tea and milkshake made after the food was arrived) and some drinks were forgotten. So the organisation didn’t seem great. And I was given a much smaller portion of chips then someone else in my group when I ordered chips individually in my breakfast as well. I could not understand why this happened but I was a bit disappointed with my small chips. Apart from that all good and I enjoy coming here for a full English.

Very affordable breakfast and lunch place. You can order breakfast all day. We were there on a sunday, hence the location was quite crowded. Despite the busyness the staff remained friendly and food got served quickly.

Jennys Cafe had been opened for over 10 years - ever since I was little. I came again in 2022 and the food was delicious as usual! They serve good, filling quality of British breakfast with a range of selection. The photo is a "B4" on the menu served with a slice of buttered toast. What worked well with Jennys is that the combination of toppings complement each other and were well seasoned. I was amazed by the bacon - not too salty and the egg runny. Overall delicious, well presented, well priced and I love the anesthetic of a small, classic diner. I will come again. Also! Cash only. Update: They take card payments now!

All day breakfast ...until 5pm. I was craving a real greasy spoon full English breakfast. And I was not disappointed! Came here around 4pm, being really hungry and this was exactly what I wanted. Theres a few different veggie options and I got one of them adding some fried tomatoes and a coffee. All in all it was about 10£. Really yummy! My friend got a cheesy potato and was also very happy. I imagine I might come back next time I'm in London.
