   As a first-time buyer I was rather nervous about choosing a conveyancing solicitor and so plumped for O'Donnell following a recommendation from a friend who has also used them several times in the past. Given some of the terrible experiences others have had, I count myself fortunate to have employed a firm that ran my purchase smoothly from their end. Nicola Schofield handled the move and was always extremely personable and professional. Communication was perhaps a little slow to start but I think this was purely down to the fact that other cases (i.e. those closer to completion) were more pressing. When it came to the business end of my purchase I couldn't fault Nicola and her team, especially when issues arose with the vendor's solicitor in the final days before exchange. I appreciated the way Nicola took time to offer reassurance and returned calls/emails in good order. Having a solicitor who was available and happy to talk on the phone was a huge relief because, having heard so many horror stories, this was my main concern at the outset. I would be happy to recommend O'Donnell Solicitors and use their competitively priced services again in future.
