While the buyer’s solicitor was very difficult to deal with, ours made everything so much easier with her professionalism, honesty, and support. She made a huge difference, and we felt looked after the entire time. Highly recommend!

   Lindsay was our conveyancer for both buying and selling. Honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. Very thorough and responsive to any questions we had and always was very reassuring throughout the process. We have used Harold stock and co twice now over the year for moving and if we were to ever move again I would 100% return. 10/10 would recommend.

   Really terrible service, they're extremely slow and seem to sit on information for ages. There is no speed or urgency about them at all, and we didn't even have a chain to contend with. Perhaps the worst thing about them is that on the day of completion of sale, they called at 10am to say it had all been completed, told the estate agent the same and said to release the keys, then held onto the money until 5pm that day before paying it to us. This was after about 6 phone calls to chase the money up and being fobbed off every time. Shocking service.

   Communication from my solicitor was very slow, and I was fobbed off with excuses when I chased. Karen looked after my own interests but it was the speed of communication that let the firm down. I waited two weeks for any sort of update despite emails and phone calls, and telephone conferences were moved at the last minute or my solicitor didn't call at all. I won't be using them again.

   Avoid at all cost. I can't stress this enough - you'd get more use out of a chocolate fire guard. They sit on information for such a long time without passing it on to other people. If you want to waste loads of money and risk the sale of your house falling through these are the solicitors for you - if however you want a solicitor to do a job properly and make everything as stress free as possible these aren't for you!

   EXCEPTIONAL, COMPETENT, FRIENDLY SERVICE. Having been in business most of my life I have had many dealings with solicitors and I can't always say they were pleasurable, cost effective transactions. However, I have recently just bought and sold a property using Harold Stock & Co and can't praise they're conveyancing department enough. In particular Pam Chamley and Rachel were just BRILLIANT to deal with and in a different class to the alternative conveyancing people on both occasions. Add to this their friendly and "make it happen" attitude whilst always keeping me informed, renews my faith in the legal profession. Well in conveyancing!
