Happened on this little cafe while visiting Crouch End. Great welcome from the team of guys working behind the counter. Ordered avocado and goat’s cheese on sourdough, was really very good, and fairly substantial. Thoughtfully one of the guys asked me if I’d prefer my coffee after I’d eaten. He then asked me if I was ready for my flat white once I’d eaten. Was a really good coffee. Nice atmosphere in there, and was clear that lots of their customers were regulars. Having tried a few places in the locale, this is definitely the place I’d return to

Coffee-first cafe - it’s my go-to if I’m getting a takeaway coffee in Crouch End. Delicious and exceptionally made. Expensive, but get what you pay for etc. Friendly staff. Decent selection of food if you’re so inclined.

Coffee Circus is a nice coffee shop with plenty of character and a really good vibe. I only ordered a long black, which I enjoyed, but I’ll definitely visit again to try their breakfast menu. The place is pet-friendly, and they have desserts displayed at the counter. They also offer juices, smoothies, speciality brews, hot chocolate, tea, iced drinks, and even kids’ options like a babyccino, so it’s family-friendly too. They sell coffee mugs and beans as well. Overall, it’s a cool spot — worth checking out whether you’re going alone, with friends, or with family.

I’ve been coming to this place for years, at least since 2013. First with friends, now with my kids for babychinos in the morning before dropping them to school. Aside from the coffee, which is always excellent, the guys who work here are fantastic people. Really welcoming, cool, just good energy all round with good music playing in the background. I’ve seen plenty of staff come and go over the years, but it’s clear the person who runs this place pays attention to the vibe. Because coffee, at the end of the day, is never just about coffee. It’s about experience and human contact. And here you get that.

Such a lovely cafe to visit, the atmosphere was calming and warm and welcoming at the same time. You can really switch off and focus on whatever you're doing away from the hustle and bustle outside. It has lots of cosy spots and nooks to grab a seat in. Food was great and really good value - desserts looked lovely but I was too full to try. Can't wait to visit again. Lovely spot to read the paper or do admin - but make sure you give them business and buy something!

One of my favourite cafés in London. Good coffee, friendly staff, beautiful food. The space has a cozy feel and a good vibe. The French toast is fantastic!

Nice little coffee shop that also serves great brunch/lunch. The coffee is exceptional compared to most places. Draws a mix of clientele and not just coffee snobs. They also display and sell what I assume to be local artwork. Order at the till but at least once servers have gone out of their way to take a table order. Usually friendly service but has been let down once or twice by uncommunicative staff and unusually slow V60. It’s also rather small and tables fill up quickly. Unsurprisingly it often suffers from the usual plague of sole customers or laptop users nursing one drink for an hour+ while hogging tables with multiple seats during the busiest part of the day. Many times I’ve witnessed couples and small groups turn around and walk out because of this, and almost done so myself - it’s something staff should probably look to nip by intervening where necessary. If I was the owner I’d be a little concerned with the needlessly lost immediate and potentially future custom.

I was a bit disappointed with my visit to The Coffee Circus. The black Americano I ordered was not properly filled ( the cup was at least a full QUARTER of the way down and so I felt like I was being ' short-cupped', and this is not acceptable for the princely sum of £3 ! ) although it tasted fine . Also the cakes and savouries did not show the prices at the COUNTER ( I am always wary of places where the prices are not displayed ! ) and the Victoria Slice, also costing £ 3, was again a bit on the expensive side, although the taste was indeed good ! Moreover, I feel that the place could do with a bit of a makeover as the arty style is starting to look a little jaded !

I can't praise this place enough. The food is wonderful and the coffee is just right. The staff are pleasant. So grateful to have a local cafe/coffee shop like this.

Some of the best coffee in London, with a really cozy seating area and decor. We have been here many times and will certainly keep coming back for the coffee. Dropped a star as the food is not as top notch as the coffee, particularly as this area has a lot of great breakfast and lunch places. Also the service is not particularly friendly.
