I wanted to share an experience I had at a cafe recently. I took my one-year-old son out for a quick meal, but unfortunately, we encountered a rather upsetting situation. My son, who is only one year old, was enjoying an ice lolly in his highchair. He dropped the wrapper on the floor, and I was about to pick it up when I noticed the cashier seemed quite frustrated. I assured him I would take care of it. Then, my son put the lolly on the table, and the cashier's frustration seemed to escalate, though I tried to ignore it. However, when my son attempted to get out of the highchair, the cashier started shouting in front of all the customers. It was incredibly embarrassing and completely unnecessary, especially considering he's just a baby. There was no compassion, given my son's age he was one years old ,the cashier's behavior was so disturbing that I felt compelled to pack up my food, which I hadn't even had a chance to eat, and leave. It was disheartening to be treated poorly simply because I had a young child. Although the cashier did apologise, I couldn't shake off the unease I felt after we got home. It's definitely not a child-friendly place, and I don't plan on going back. People I need to learn how to be kind the world will be such a better place. You donβt know what people are going through behind closed doors.

Itβs 28c today and the cafe refused to give water to my dog. My wife spends money there after my kids cricket lessons on Saturdays. Never again. You would think the owner of a cafe in a park would be a bit nicer to dogs.

This place is cheap, does a good sausage sandwich and the coffee isn't bad either. Plenty of seats inside or the outside covered area. Best seats are outside in the sun with the full view of the park. The cafe has their own toilets so you don't have to use the public ones.

Cheap & cheerful but fresh & delicious. The best thing about this cafe is the staff - they know everyone's order, everyone's name, and they're unfailingly lovely, even when the place gets very busy. An absolute gem of a place.
