We visited for breakfast yesterday. It’s a simple and modest place, and the food and service are always good. Not our first time, and definitely won’t be our last!

The Dialogue Café — Where Mornings Begin with Meaning Whether you're easing into the day or diving into work, The Dialogue Café offers a welcoming atmosphere, thoughtful food, and a sense of community. It’s the kind of place where breakfast feels like a ritual — not just a meal. Why it’s a breakfast favourite: Fresh pastries and sourdough toast — flaky, warm, and comforting Avocado toast with poached eggs — simple, elegant, and satisfying Shakshuka or Turkish eggs — bold, spiced, and full of character Smooth coffee and herbal teas — well-brewed and gently energising Friendly staff and clean design — makes you want to linger

Quirky little cafe. Lovely Clapton Breakfast. Little disappointed as I think my Matcha latte was made a little to thick. Iced Chai tea was enjoyed as was the Avocado toast and Poached eggs (avocado was a little brown.) We finished off with lovely iced latte and vanilla iced latte.

Just moved into the area and was wandering around when I decided to drop in. Surprised myself by going for something I’ve never tried before and was not disappointed by their Turkish Eggs. Absolutely delicious! The tea was also lovely, coupled with a nice, cosy atmosphere with polite staff and quick service. Will definitely be back soon.

A couple of weird reviews on here. Staff are lovely (if you think otherwise you probably need to take a look at yourself!). Shakshuka and gozleme are really excellent.

The old school lighting and authentic display of traditional Turkish pastries lured me in right away. This is a MUST visit Turkish cafe in Upper Clapton. +Friendly and neighbourly customer-service +Rustic and antique vibe +Lots of comfy free space and full view of the Baker in action +Distinct coffee that will send you on a trip to Turkey, has all the things expected at a cafe

Delicious coffee and fantastic atmosphere! Very welcoming staff who are attentive and remember patrons. Also, at times there’s a lady making gözleme fresh at the front of the cafe - looks lovely and can’t wait to try that soon!
