   The staff here is absolutely awful, and the coffee is even worse. I ordered an iced caramel latte, but what I got was a bland, lukewarm mess without any ice; the barista making the drink used 98%milk, almost filling the take away cup to the brim with milk and did not put any of the caramel I ordered and paid for into the drink. To top it off, the pastries tasted stale. And don’t even get me started on the female barista—she seemed downright annoyed that I wanted cow’s milk instead of oat milk. Unbelievable. There’s absolutely no atmosphere in the coffee shop. It’s bland and unpleasant. Won’t be back.

   The coffee is good and the staff friendly. I think maybe make your anti laptop policy clearer before purchase as I wouldn't have bought if I knew. I intended to stay but I couldn't. It's not like I was planning on doing a full days work, I just wanted to chill with my hobby while I drank coffee! I could have just gone to another café. Next time I'll be going elsewhere unfortunately

   Lovely coffee but even better service from Sarah who is always really friendly and welcoming. She has made it more than a place to just grab a quick coffee by giving it a community feel. I enjoying dropping in to say hello and to have a chat now while I get my coffee. She is great at remembering all the regulars.

   Mum and I had a lovely morning here catching up on work and consuming multiple flat whites (we only had the intention of one but they were so good we couldn't resist a second) and having lovely conversations with the sweet and funny barista Sarah, who made us feel so welcome - I'll definitely be making a regular trip back when Sarah is working! I love the Brockley Elsewhere for the food but the Herne Hill one has such nice ambience and staff, so its a shame they don't do the food too!

   Great coffe but horrible service from Very Sassy Girl who Probably not loving what She do... gossip with her colleague about the clients in such a small place make it very uncomfortable to wait till the Coffee be ready to pick up... It's my second and last time here ... With all the Recepect there is plenty of lovely places around.... Keep your rude attitude for people who don't care....

   I have been a regular costumer in this cafe for few months already. It offers, by far, the best flat white and coffee cortado in Herne Hill area. When you are here, try their veggie brunch options. I am a big fan of the spicy kimchi eggs and their three cheeses toastie. I recommend this place also for the very welcoming and friendly staff.

   As expected for a local roaster's coffee shop, the drinks were fantastic. The pastries were also very good, perfect for a quick meet up with a friend. Usually food is an afterthought, however not the case here. We had kimchi eggs which were pleasantly spicy and perfectly poached, and an Italian sandwich, which was well made with an excellent olive tapenade. There aren't any baby change facilities (not positive or negative, just a consideration for parents).
