   Saturday 28th September 2024 Today I visited this grand little ale house This tiny pub with great people drinking inside and great staff with a beautifully decored outside drinking area at the back of the pub The 4 real ales were really interesting beers to add to this pubs acclaim This pub, in my opinion, is an essential visit when drinking real ales in Harrogate

   Such a great surprise. I was having a relaxing afternoon in Leeds after dropping off a film at a lab not far away to be developed for my son who is a professional photographer. I could easily get a table to read my newspaper and the zero beer I selected from the fridge was brought to me by the host..nice touch I thought. Also by coincidence the glass was from a German manufacturer that I hadn't heard of before. After 32 years working with many glass factories I was pleased to find a new one. A good choice of interesting beers were available and the genial host made it worth coming back to in the future.

   Fantastic selection of local beers. This is a great place to discover unusual beers and ales. The staff here are also rather knowledable and happy to assist with your choice. Prices vary from affordable to pretty expensive, but there's a lot of choice to suit most tastes.

   On the balcony level of the old corn exchange. They manage to fit a lot of beer in a small place and even fill growlers. Well worth a visit.

   What a great find. This place has a fantastic selection of beers available for every beer drinker. Located in the stunning Corn Exchange building. We bought a lovely pale ale which has been enjoyed. We could have done with a little assistance when choosing the beer though. Overall great shop and we will visit again.

   Great selection of beers for a small shop and the first place I have seen locally to sell "growlers". For those that don't know these 2 litre (1.9 to be precise) used for taking away keg or cask beer. The shop has a couple of frequently changing beers on tap which makes the selection more interesting than just bottles. Growlers are a North American concept and hopefully one that will catch on here soon.
