£7 for 5 pieces of very not delicious halloumi fries. No other comment. Maybe other food is good, but this halloumi fries is shocking. Picture was taken after we had 2 pieces. 1 star review because the vibes is pretty good here. Staff are friendly as well. But the halloumi fries is -20 star.
Came to parkside tavern for a bite to eat and a drink. The staff were lovely and accommodating. After ordering food, a table next to us claimed it was theirs and were quite unpleasant, the staff did everything to rectify the situation and went above and beyond. It's unfortunate some customers will be unpleasant and take advantage of a lovely establishment. But the staff at parkside tavern were beyond kind and helpful and really did their best to fix a bad situation caused by shoddy customers. I've come here a fair few times and every time has been a great experience. 10/10 service and atmosphere :)
We booked an hour of pool, darts and shuffleboard for a group gathering. Games were very reasonably priced. We stayed on longer than expected because of the fun and atmosphere. Food was good too. Staff were friendly. Everyone has raved about it since. Would recommend for a group gathering.
Drinks were decent prices and atmosphere was really good, relaxed but upbeat. One of the staff members came off a little hostile but everything was run really smoothly and we felt attended to without being bothered. Tuesday Pub quiz is £1 per person, hosted on SpeedQuizzing. Was a good length and a great time, maybe just needed a bit more variety of topics!
Lovely pub. Go for it! Great atmosphere, service was quick and staff were very friendly. Definitely a great place to hang out with friends, watch games, or just go with your partner. The pizza was delicious and didn't take long to be ready, so definitely good for a bite while having a few pints. It's not very big, but as we weren't very hungry, we got 1 to share between 2. Also pool tables are very well look after. I recommend giving it a go but if you wanna play it, you need to book in advance. At least one day before
Love it here, been a few times and it never dissapoints! Good bar service, decent selection of beers and pool tables! What more do you need !!?
Nice spacious bar with outdoor seating for better weather. A large reservable room on the 1st floor with bar & same level bathroom - there are accessible bathrooms on every floor, with main toilets in the basement level where there is a second reservable space. The drinks range goes from everyday to premium and there is a decent selection of typical modern pub food prepared to a very good standard
Great little place to go, for a chat and for drinks at a reasonable price for today's standards. Four snooker tables available to hire for 30m to an hour. Had a private party here before, very enjoyable evening.
Bit pricey nice pint pool tables are great. Great cloth cues are kept in good condition great if you want to go play some pool. Pay by the half hour tho average about £12 n hr
Went in yesterday afternoon & again in evening. Great prices, good atmosphere. Pizza was fantastic, Yorkshire blue cheese. Door staff were very friendly & helpful.
