I’ve been a local customer at Wilton Way Café for over two years, visiting a couple of times a week for convenience. The lunch options can be quite good on occasion, though consistency is sometimes lacking, and I’ve generally found the pastries to be underwhelming. Earlier this month, during a particularly hot day (around 35°C), I visited for coffee and asked for some tap water with ice. I was told I could help myself to water from the Wilton Way Deli, but the water there was sitting in direct sunlight and was far too warm to drink. When I requested ice, I was told it would only be available if I purchased bottled water, which I did for £1.80 in order to receive ice. The explanation was that the café spends £60 a day on ice and therefore cannot offer it freely. Given the café’s pricing (over £4 for an iced coffee), I found this response disappointing, especially as a long-standing customer. Additionally, the iced coffee is often pre-prepared and lacks flavour. I’ve politely requested freshly made espresso in my iced Americano on several occasions, but the staff have consistently been unwilling or unable to accommodate this simple request, even when clearly communicated. While I’ve appreciated the café’s presence in the area, these experiences have made it difficult to justify returning. I hope feedback like this encourages a more thoughtful approach to customer service in the future.

Hipster cafe with the usual tribe present. Food was decent. Coffees are nice. Atmosphere is generic. Busy place though. Could do with more seating. Kind of cold outside. People broke out into carol singing whilst we were there.

Wilton Way Cafe is our chilled-out weekend spot. My partner and I are regulars here, mainly for the epic pancetta and avo baps – they're just the right mix of tasty and comforting. The pastries are a hit too, perfect with a coffee. What we really love is the laid-back, neighbourhood feel. It's always full of locals, dogs, and kids, which adds a nice, homely touch. Great place for a relaxed bite and to feel part of the community.

Hands down the best coffee spot in east London. Also a fabulous spot for an aperol spritz with great food on a sunny summer evening. The best little escape spot with what I can only describe as the best chocolate croissant I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting.

Very good range of food (and healthy), and perfect coffee! I really like the staff. In the evening, their selection of cured meat and cheese with wine have been my go-to with my work friends. Also price is very reasonable.

[Update] there are going to be another shop,by the same lovely people at Wilton Way Deli- I can't wait to see what delight (s) going to be in the 'New Shop' - Mentally prepare the taste buds for a feast, the pastries- are a reason to que up on its own, they might not have the biggest selection but, the one they have are fantastic. I have eaten my way through most of the offerings, and I always want more....the staff, make sure you feel welcome and brings a smile to your face.

Sat outdoors in the parklet. Small but tasty meal, lovely glass of red wine. Plenty of veggie options. Loved it

Very tasty food+ coffee, and friendly service. The decor could use a bit of TLC though - very small cafe so all the rough edges are very noticeable.
