When I saw this as the number one spot for matcha in the Beli app I had to go and see for myself and was not left disappointed. The vibes of the place are lovely with a traditional Japanese cafe look that provides a relaxing vibe. Also being a bit away from central London definitely has its perks as there was no queue when we went on a Saturday after lunch. A bit crowded but definitely adds to its charm. The service was very good as well as the waitress was lovely. Now on to the important stuff. The float I thought at the first the matcha tasted really strong (so you know the quality is high) but also when the ice cream started melting it was definitely one of the best matchas I’ve had. But the most unexpected suprise was the matcha cheesecake which was the creamiest and most tasty dessert I’ve had that I had to buy another slice to take home. This is must place for matcha lovers or even someone who just wants a nice dessert in a more quiet cafe in London.

Such a cute cafe and the food was so good. I got the Iced Matcha float and Strawberry Shortcake. Not a matcha fan but will definitely be going back for it; so delicious and creamy. And the cake was soft and not too sweet. The mismatched dinnerware is adorable and the decor is so cosy. You can’t always guarantee a seat but was lucky to be there when it wasn’t busy. 11/10

Stopped by Saturday morning right on opening and there was already a queue of people waiting on drinks. There is seating inside however the cafe is small and cramp but we did manage to get a table. We ordered the iced matcha honey latte and the hojicha float. I can say this is now added to my top 5 matcha cafes in london! The matcha was not overly sweet from the honey where it took away the fragrance of the green tea. It was just right! Beautiful colour too. The hojicha was beautifully roasted and the ice cream was a nice touch. Would come back just for drinks

great service, amazing matcha quality. i got a matcha float and it was so yummy! only thing was i was studying there and i was eating a small pot of yoghurt as my breakfast to have with my matcha and i was told to put it away, so just bare that in mind to not bring any of your own food. aside from that i will definitely be back

Really nice energy. Hearing the staff chatter away happily in Japanese contributed to a really nice ambience. They even have a set of manga which I’m looking forward to peeking at next time. The sencha tea was delicious and tastes really high quality, and the cups and presentation were just as good. Can’t wait to revisit.

It's a hidden gem with great onigiri, they can make them warm and it's a perfect snack on the go. If you want to try onigiri and you don't like salty food then I recommend asking which types are less salty. Their prices are very reasonable.

Great cafe offering a fusion mix of Western and Japanese dishes. Even a simple chicken sandwich was great, the bread was crusty and came warm. Coffee tasted good. Staff were nice and service was fast. Decor was interesting. Will visit again.

Went there last year around Summer time. Small cosy cafe, staffs were friendly, love all the Japanese bakeries I had. Will go back at some point!

Really lovely cafe. Convenient location just up the road from busy shoreditch high street towards hoxton. Came in and there was a very warm cozy atmosphere. Ordered a yuzu tea drink, salted seaweed onigiri rice ball and matcha brownie. Everything tasted amazing! Presentation was good too. Rice was fresh and seaweed tasty. Yuzu tea very nice and the matcha brownie was crumbly but delicious. I hope they do custom orders for cakes. Interior was Japanese twist with modern but quirky elements. Highly recommend if you want to find something authentic and nice to escape the busy city
