Great coffee, amazing spinach pie, and friendly staff! This cozy coffee shop has quickly become one of my favorites. The coffee is always smooth and full of flavor, and their spinach pie is absolutely delicious — fresh, flaky, and perfectly seasoned. The staff are warm, attentive, and always make you feel welcome. Whether you’re grabbing a quick cup or staying to relax, it’s a great spot all around. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place! The service was warm and attentive—staff were friendly and made us feel really welcome from the moment we walked in. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality you get, which makes it even better. The menu has a great variety, perfect for both a quick coffee or a full-on brunch. The interior design is gorgeous—bright, modern, and cozy, with a really relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re catching up with friends or just want a nice spot to unwind, this place ticks all the boxes. Highly recommend!

Not from the area and stopped for lunch at this place. The owner and the team were so friendly and helpful (they explained they had run out of till roll for my receipt, so emailed me - then checked I had the email). The food was delicious and the portions big. All in all, great value - we had 3x mains, 2x sides and 3 drinks for £48. Also, it was really clean and well kept. Strongly recommend this place - we will come back!

I have been coming to Glades for years and have only gotten coffee here. Well, today we decided to have lunch and it was fabulous. I can't believe we have never eaten here before. I had the hotnsalt beef, and my god, was it good. The wife had the seafood pasta, and she actually complained due to how many prawns were in the pasta ( do to most places not putting much). Overall I will definitely eat here again.

We could not find the place to celebrate Mother's Day with my daughter as everything was booked and were lucky to try this cafe as the last hope. We had salad and pasta. Big portions. I like the informal atmosphere.

Had the chance to eat at this cafe today, no regrets ! Their menu is really vast with a selection of classic Turkish dishes and regular cafe dishes. Highly recommend. Nice artwork as well. The spinach pie stands out, pastry is done to a high standard. I had the bacon, avocado and cheese panini. Definitely could taste and see that they put effort into their dishes e.g presentation and quality of ingredients. My friend has the soup of the day which was a vegetable soup. I had a taste and it was very homely and comforting.

Awful. My coffee had dead flies in it. The waiter tried to convince me they had flown in there and died from the time it took him to walk from the counter to the table. He then patronised me when I didn’t want to drink a dead insect latte. He didn’t re make it. The sandwiches are advertised as being baguettes. There are pictures of baguettes on the menu, in the window, all over the café. What arrived was just cheap sliced bread. The bacon was fatty and not cooked well. The chicken was precooked and dry. No side salad or garnish. Just a bread sandwich with poor quality ingredients. They didn’t even offer any sauces for the chips. Had to get up and get them and they were the cheap Litchfield brand. Pathetic. A complete rip off. It’s a cheap, greasy spoon on the high street overcharging for what they offer. Check your food for insects and bugs. I imagine they make you pay at the counter and not at the end of your meal because there’s less chance you’ll complain. Avoid at all costs.
