I love a traditional tea room, and this one is beautifully decorated. The food and coffee were excellent; they truly did not disappoint. It is everything you would want on a Saturday morning. We had vegetarian English Breakfast and the sausage was not too spicy or smelly, toasted breads were buttered, just the right portion of everything.

We enjoyed a lovely Christmas Afternoon Tea; the table was beautifully decorated with the cutlery and china on theme, plus the atmosphere was buzzing. The staff were very helpful and polite, friendly and always around if you needed them! The food itself was nice enough and there was a fair amount, but I do think it was overpriced for the content - we spent £118 for 2 adults and 3 children. Overall we enjoyed our first visit and will come again, but at those prices it won’t be for the Afternoon Tea.

⭐ 5 out of 5 stars The Drawing Room is an absolute hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, it wraps you in cozy charm and a sense of timeless English elegance. The hot drinks are delightful — I had the hot chocolate, and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had: rich, smooth, and perfectly comforting. Their selection of freshly baked cakes and pastries is just as impressive — everything looked (and tasted) homemade with care. It’s the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time over a cup of something warm and a sweet treat. What truly sets this place apart, though, is their collection of the cutest English cups, plates, and kettles. Every detail feels thoughtfully curated, and it’s like stepping into a charming little tea dream. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comforting, feel-good café experience with loads of character!

What a lovely place! The Drawing Room has such a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff are incredibly friendly and really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The food is great, and they’re very kid-friendly, which makes it perfect for a relaxed family outing. One of my favourite things is their beautiful tea cups—such a charming touch that makes the whole experience feel special. The cakes are absolutely delicious, and the scones are fresh and just perfect with cream and jam. Definitely one of those hidden gems that you’ll want to come back to. Highly recommend! Rating: 5/5

A wonderful and unexpected find during a local hospital stay. The food is always fantastic, tasty cakes and delicious sandwiches. The staff are friendly and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Top quality service all round. Despite not living locally I’ve made the trip back to visit numerous times now and am always pleased I have!

Have passed here so many times as used to work locally and live in nearby Bromley. Always wanted to check it out. Popped in for lunch with my Mum after a hospital appointment and was very happy with the food, service and the pot of tea! Uniquely British with fine attention to detail and quality. I've seen some reviews here about being overpriced, but I would far rather pay more to eat nice food than go to a greasy spoon. I thought it was reasonably priced given the high standards. It is a very busy cafe but then it is always full of customers... Because it is popular. We chose to sit outside for more space on our visit. I thought it was fabulous!

The Drawing Room was an absolute delight serving by far the freshest pastries and sandwiches I've ever had in an afternoon tea (all baked daily on the premises). We booked a table for 2 o'clock in the afternoon which was a busy time and boy was I impressed by how well drilled, motivated and courteous all the staff were. Food of this quality served to this high standard can only be the result of absolute dedication and a true labour of love by the owner of this establisment....hats off and now a firm favourite of ours.

Birthday afternoon tea for my partner. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I accidentally dropped some brownie crumps on my white dress and one of the staff (I think it's the owner's daughter) saw it and immediately brought a clean wet wipe. That's what you call being attentive and kind!
