Great experience at Bakery Hotel. Big thanks to Sheila — our taxi never showed up, and we were close to missing our flight. She stepped in right away and drove us to the airport herself. Thanks to her, we made it on time. Sheila rocks!
We cycled there from London, a little concerned that it would be too posh for cyclists in full Lycra, but they were very welcoming and the service was excellent. Full Sunday roast was an unexpected bonus, although they will do a coffee and cake if you've not the time or appetite...Will definitely go again, if I can face cycling up the hills
Stayed overnight here and had a lovely stop over. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Room was super. Clean, nicely decorated. Breakfast was amazing. Cooked with love and care. Visited family locally and really looking forward to staying at this gem again.felt comfortable here.
We stayed here because it is close to the wedding venue 'The Barn' at Botley Hill. We arrived at the last minute....but check in was efficient and friendly. The rooms are smart, comfortable and quiet. Tea, coffee and a few biscuits in the room. Breakfast was really good and they catered for a Gluten free diet (also vegetarian/ vegan options). The coffee was good. Tatsfield itself is pleasant enough but unremarkable.
We had a great time and had excellent rooms and enjoyed a great kitchen. Mr. Bond his family and staff are great! Love to visit them aging!
Fantastic food and really friendly service. We stayed in one of the double rooms with our 3 month old and had loads of space and a great stay. Would thoroughly recommend.
What a find! Drove past The Bakery Bar and then decided to pop in to see if we could have a meal. My son and I ended up enjoying 2 courses from the set menu. I chose leek and potato soup followed by a roasted vegetable tartlet. We ate in the bar to watch the World Cup Final. An afternoon/evening to remember. The staff and clientele were all nice and friendly. Would recommend.
Stopped here whilst traversing the North Downs Way and have to say it really is a lovely little place to stay, if not slightly off the beaten track. The village itself is quite picturesque and the room here, although quite small, was very modern and nicely decorated. Sadly the owner doesn't do food on Sundays but was happy for me to order in, the bar area was very friendly and I very much enjoyed the morning breakfast. I'm planning to come back and do it all again and, when I do, I will certainly be coming back here.
