A real gem in Waltham Forest – welcoming, beautiful and inclusive My friend and I walked into Mego Coffeehouse on a whim, drawn in by the beautiful exterior and the thoughtful presentation from the street – and we’re so glad we did. Inside, the space is light, airy and generously laid out, with everyone seated comfortably and plenty of room to move around. It’s well decorated, calm and inviting, with a real sense of warmth and ease the moment you walk in. The menu is excellent and genuinely caters for everyone – carnivores, vegetarians and vegans alike. There’s a great selection of pastries, along with hot and cold beverages, and a choice of alternative milks too. All you need to do is state your requirements and they’re happy to accommodate, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed and inclusive. The customer service is outstanding – friendly, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. You never feel rushed, just comfortable and looked after. Accessibility has clearly been well thought through. There’s lots of space for wheelchair users, making it easy to move around, and the toilets are large and accessible too. Whether you’re out with family members or carers, or visiting on your own, this is a fantastic place to be. It feels safe, friendly and welcoming. There are also settees and coffee tables, giving it a cosy, lounge-like feel, and it’s dog-friendly, which is a lovely bonus for anyone who enjoys heading out with their furry companion. Overall, Mego Coffeehouse is a beautifully designed, inclusive and genuinely welcoming space. Stylish yet comfortable, thoughtful without being fussy, and clearly run with care. Whether you’re meeting friends, spending time alone, visiting with carers, or popping in with your dog, this is a place you’ll want to return to again and again. Highly recommended.

Got two halal full english breakfasts, 1 eggs royale and a fresh OJ, didn't know you could ask for a choice of bread. Everything was nice and warm unlike some of the reviews. Nobody seated us or gave us menus or told us we had to order at the till would have been nice. The sausages were sujuc, didn't like them, maybe specify on the menu that its not actually sausages. The eggs had some oregano herbs on wasn't nice. The butter for the toast didn't taste very nice and the mushrooms were tiny. The beans were good. The toast was very hard to cut. Long wait for the food to come, they need more staff.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went to Mego Coffee House today and ordered the Full English with extra onions, a cup of tea and fresh orange juice for myself and the Mego Chessy Beef Burger with extra onions and fresh orange juice for my partner. The food was absolutely atrocious. The toast was cold, the eggs I asked to be well done and had to send back because they were runny. The turkey bacon, mushrooms and hash brown were cold. The so called beef sausage was sucuk and cold. The fresh orange juice was full of ice so didn't have that much orange juice for £5. When I asked to see the manager I was told that the manager was not in. I then asked who I could complain to and the waitress didn't know. I paid over £40 for this rubbish, never again.

I have to rate 5 stars because I went back. It’s a great place for a quick easy lunch in somewhere. I’ve had two toasties and the second one was great (breakfast toastie). Staff a super friendly. They could make the decor cuter / cosier, but then that would probably come with increased prices!

I am from North American. It’s just hard for me to imagine getting a handmade coffee for just £3 anywhere in New York or Toronto! And you don’t have to pay tax and tip. This place is amazing. The staff are friendly. The coffee tastes quite nice. The atmosphere is the best part of this wonderful experience. It’s clean and cozy, I can spend my whole day here. Definitely recommended!

A really cute cafe! I got an All-Day Breakfast toastie, with a slice of lemon drizzle cake and a deluxe hot chocolate. The food was really lovely! The staff were wonderful and friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely!!
