Disappointing visit - toasties were very average and sloppily made and presented. Staff seemed disinterested and didn't offer napkins etc with the food. Also very difficult to move between tables with the cramped layout.

Hidden Gem! So pleased my colleague introduced me to this lovely little coffee shop today! It’s such a cute place with plenty of seating both inside and out. The coffee tastes amazing and is really well made. The lady serving us was very friendly, and the prices are really reasonable too. The food looked delicious, so I’m already looking forward to trying something next time!

Poor espresso, not great at clearing tables outside. [edit following owner's response: thanks for responding, I appreciate you may have been busy that day, I just reported what we experienced (we cleared our own table before sitting and those near us were left uncleared too). I was giving an honest review of your coffee as was disappointed with your espresso after specifically searching out a proper coffee house in the hope of getting a good one. I don't think it could have been remedied on the day, it's likely just that your beans are burnt as the taste was harsh and bitter, not quite as bad as Starbucks but similar. It's a subjective matter for sure, maybe some people like that flavour, it was just unexpected and unwelcome. Glad to see you stock vegan cakes, shame they ran out by 2pm as the buns sounded great. Thanks.]

Great coffee served here. Plenty of seating mainly outside which is ideal on a sunny day. Have eaten the usual cafe food here previously but not this time. It's a popular place with locals and in the heart of the shops.

Cafe in the 'heart' of Sevenoaks, lots of seating space outside as well...decent coffee, pastries and sandwiches on offer...freshly made, served by friendly staff.

We stopped at Malabar for a small lunch. We had the ham and cheese croissants, and a latte & iced latte. The ham and cheese croissants were lovely and the coffees were quite nice too. The regular latte was a little on the small side though. It is small and cosy inside. I notice they sell their own coffee and have a great selection of quality teas as well. We enjoyed our visit ☺️

Lovely coffee house. The Brie and cranberry croissant is a must.

They don't have a milk thermometer and you can't make decent coffee without one. Ask any properly trained barrista.
