   Excellent straightforward honest MOTs with no booking needed. Just turn up and wait. Usually have 3 lanes. Brilliant. Been using them for 3 years now, my only regret is I didnt know about them sooner! Even better if you fail and need a retest is free! Friendly helpful staff and a really efficient service. Nice clean comfy waiting area.

   Went here the other night to get my mot done and was very pleasantly surprised.Really good staff a nice place to wait and spotlessly clean,even had a look around the sports shop.It didn’t take to long and I was one of the last customers,but I had a new battery put into my key fob and when I went to go home when I opened it the alarm went off and then the car wouldn’t.Luckily I guy called Paul came out to help me and checked the fob and the guy from Timpsons in Heswall had put the wrong battery in.By now the place was shutting,but he looked for a right battery.He couldn’t find one,but made a few phone calls and managed to get one down the road.He went and got it and replaced the dud one and everything was fine.I can’t say thankyou enough,Paul kept the place open until everything was ok with me and had gone above and beyond to help me.Can’t recommend enough.

   I have used Walsh's for many years for MOT and MOT repairs. It is very easy and welcoming, especially for a female. MOT's are turn up and wait, you can be in and out in 20 mins. The comfy, clean, warm waiting room is great. Today I had to have a re-test, and the lovely Paul sorted a new bulb and re-tested within 15 mins. I have highly recommended them to family and friends, who now use them.

   The best car repair and maintenance around. Ive used walsh for over 7 years and they go up and beyond always!! Ive had numerous body and maintenance services 10/10. I come over from Liverpool and honestly the work is outstanding excellent customer service and very efficient and helpful! Wouldn’t use anyone else the best around! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

   If you have got a spare 5 hours to waste then this is the place to do it. This is the first time I had needed to visit but it will also be my last. Due to needing an MOT quick I was advised to come here as it is a 'while you wait' service. I turned up mid morning and queued as expected. I waited, and waited and then at 12.30pm the red barrier straps got pulled across all 4 bays and the workers all disappeared....??? Apparently they had gone on their dinner.... Nice of them to inform the waiting customers. THANKS! They arrived back at 1pm and the wait continued. Finally got my car in after 3 hours. .. Yes 3 HOURS! Ridiculous! The car failed so needed a retest. Arrived early on Saturday morning at 8am even though they don't open until 8.30am. Even then ALL lanes were 3 deep wirh cars. That's fair enough but at least I will get seen. After waiting for them to open only 3 of the shutters opened and we were then informed, along with the 3 cars in front of me that Lane 1 is shut on Saturday's..... Are you frigging kidding???? Had to drive back out and basically leave my car stuck out in the road while I queued in Lane 4 along with others. Finally got in and had my car passed. There are so many issues with this garage. No clear signage to inform the customers of break times/dinner times. No clear signage of lanes that will be closed on certain days and certainly no signs that are high enough to read from the car. Also the traffic outside because of the queues us dangerous and should be assessed properly before an accident happens. All in all a combined waiting time of 5 hours for a combined time of 40 minutes for test /retest is just not acceptable and strongly advise new customers thinking of visiting to consider this in their planning.

   Very efficient operation here. Line up at the correct MOT lane, usually four open, wait in your car until engineer approaches, handover keys, then sit in the waiting room for your vehicle. It was bitterly cold when I visited so it was great to sit in the warm waiting room. Reception staff was a nice young lady, polite and again efficient. A very professional set up all round.

   No appointment required, simply drive up and get your car MOT test. I arrived at 3pm (a good time in the week) and was driving away after 30 minutes. Friendly staff, a nice, warm waiting room with a hot drinks vending machine. My car passed and the cost was £49 (normal sized vehicle). I noticed others whose car had failed whilst i was there, and the staff gave them friendly advice on where to go for remedies. This is the second time I have been here and I highly recommend.

   I've never had an MOT here before, but needed one quickly. It's a fantastic setup, just drive up, no booking required, sit in the comfy waiting area and collect the car at the other end. Just like an MOT conveyor belt!
