   We started our business interruption claim almost 3 years ago! and we are still no further forward with a settlement. Whilst i understand the legal process can be very long-this company DO NOT put their client's needs first. Their absolute lack of communication on ALL levels be it paralegals or actual so called solicitors is beyond below standard. Telephone calls and emails are NEVER answered-there are NO updates on progress-and I use that word loosely because they do not make any. I can say with utter certainty that if I had given my claim to a professional law firm it would have been resolved by now. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY

   Pretty poor service! Had my claim with them for over 3.5 years. Chased them up numerous times on the phone. When I spoke to them a couple of months ago was given duff information- when I questioned it felt like as I was fobbed off. Apparently when their phone lines are busy it goes through to another claim agent. When I complained the guy from Barings Law said he would chase it up. Still waiting. Given them some pretty personal information. Beginning to think it’s a wild goose chase. Not very professional. Initially was told would take about 3/4 months. Very disappointing!

   I have been a client of Barings Law for several months and paid £2,600 in full and in advance. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. They submitted my documents to an official authority without any cover letter from the solicitor — only forwarding the bundle that I personally prepared. Such negligence and spelling mistakes in official submissions could cause serious and irreversible harm to a client’s case. Despite months of requests, they refuse to arrange any face-to-face meeting and never answer phone calls. There is no emergency contact number for urgent situations, even though I have repeatedly asked for one. Emails are often ignored, and when they do respond, it’s delayed and incomplete. Their team has shown a lack of knowledge of essential legal procedures, forcing me to personally research regulations and even contact the relevant authorities directly to clarify matters that my own solicitor should have known. Because of their poor communication and lack of accountability, I have already been forced to pay for independent legal advice twice, despite already having an active solicitor and a fully paid contract. Even after more than a year, they still misspell my own name in their email correspondence — a clear reflection of the level of care and attention they provide. The firm demonstrates no follow-up, no responsibility, and no attention to detail. They handle critical legal matters carelessly, as if they were routine paperwork. I strongly advise anyone — especially those dealing with sensitive or high-risk cases — to think very carefully before instructing Barings Law. Once they have received payment, communication and professionalism disappear completely. After my numerous complaints to them and their company, exactly one day after I made a comment about this company in Trust Pilot, instead of apologizing or scheduling a face-to-face meeting or correcting their behavior, they announced to me that we were withdrawing our representation from this case.

   Wish I Had Read the Reviews Beforehand – Extremely Unprofessional Service I really wish I had read the reviews before signing the contract. My experience with this firm was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. They repeatedly misspelled my wife’s and my name and email address in official correspondence sent to government organisations — even after we had corrected them several times in writing. They even sent official documents without any cover letter, which caused confusion and made their work look careless and unprofessional. When I raised these issues and asked for accountability, they kept saying “we are reviewing the matter.” Then, without any explanation or valid reason, they unilaterally and unlawfully terminated our contract, even though we had already paid £2,600 in full. It has now been several months, and they have refused to refund any money or provide a written reason for their decision. Our assigned solicitor never met us once during the entire process. Every time we called their office, they just took our number and said someone would call back — but no one ever did. This entire experience reflects a serious lack of professionalism, responsibility, and respect for clients. I strongly advise others to read the reviews carefully before trusting this firm or paying any fees.

   Wish I read the reviews before I contacted them. Usless. Started the claim over a year ago now Trying to move me over to afforderbity claim now and told me some story that the high court have suspended things till December this year. and need all my information again that I have already given them 3 times before. Dont bother with them. Just keep going round in circles. Any repersentives of this firm. Dont bother leaving a reply to this as I'm no longer intrested in you poor service.

   Started a claim for 2 car finance claims in February 2022 I was told it would take 6-9 months! What a joke still have no end in sight. Every time I ask for an update they seem to be no further forward with the claims!! Every time they are going back to court again but again no change! Very bad contact with them also!!!

   This company have been processing my MVF claim for over 2 years, convinced this is more about quantity that quality, as I have heard from them 0 times. I get an automatic email every half year thats about it. If you want ANY type if claim to be seen too this century, use literally any other firm.

   AVOID!!!!!AVOID!!!!!AVOID!!!!! Had finance on a car back in 2018. 2 years after paid in full as early settlement. Back in 2021 I had an email from baringslaw asking if I had missold finance. I thought yeah, ok, no win no fee. So, back in late 2021 I sent off documents, paperwork for my finance agreement from blue motor finance. Didn't hear nothing back for over a year. Now, in 2023 I've had nothing but emails asking for photographic ID and proof of address. I was sent an email asking to Esign so I checked over the personal information however my current address was wrong and more importantly my DOB was wrong. Ok, so I emailed asking them to change details to correct details. I eventually Esigned it. Got another email asking me to Esign as blue motor finance are not agreeing that baringslaw is acting on my behalf. So, I got sent yet another Esign document and guess what, info' was wrong AGAIN. At this point I'm actually thinking what a phoney law company as they cannot even get the basics right. I've asked to exit however they tell me if I exit I'll be liable for fees up to now. I ask myself what will I be paying for? I also ask my self why did I get involved. If I can recommend anything to others please, avoid this law firm.

   Wish i would of read the reviews before selecting this company to help me! Ive been waiting over a year for my claim and when i keep asking them where its at they keep giving me the same answer surely they cant be stuck at the same stage for over a year! There communication is awful!

   Be careful you don’t get cond into trusting this company. I gave all relevant information and permission to act and claim compensation from a mortgage claim after 2 years still no compensation and staff left so someone else is dealing with it keep passing it on . Complete waste of time .
