   I’ve been a regular customer at this café since it opened around nine years ago, but I was really disappointed on my recent visit. I ordered a breakfast and swapped one item for chips – something the menu clearly states is allowed (“one item may be exchanged”). However, I was charged an extra £1 because chips were apparently considered more expensive. This surcharge was never mentioned on the menu. After checking the menu more closely, I realised that the “Set Breakfast 2” already included everything I wanted, and I could have simply swapped beans for a slice of fried bread (again, well within the stated exchange policy) – no extra charge needed. When I brought this up with the staff, the response was just a shrug and “maybe next time.” I’ve always supported this café, but being overcharged unfairly and then met with indifference was really disappointing. If the menu says one item can be exchanged, then that should be honoured without hidden charges. I hope they clarify their policy for future customers.

   Popped in for a couple of bacon sandwiches to takeaway. Probably the worst bacon I've ever had, so thin it was like a rizla! Staff friendly and polite Overall a clean cafe. Limited parking in the area.

   This was a delivery order. Special instructions not adhered to. Regularly order from here via Uber Eats. First time delivery had been wrong but I’m allergic to onions so asked for no onion, tomato and cucumber only. Baguette arrived with full salad and onion. I was not able to eat as even after removing the onion you could still smell & taste it. Reported to Uber but they were not interested. By leaving a review is the only way I can make the cafe aware of the error.

   Absolutely pathetic sized portions with cheap ingredients used. Ordered a bacon baguette and a sausage sandwich costing £8.10 for a takeaway order, what an utter utter disappointing order. Bacon baguette served semi cold. Squished and stuffed into the bag. And to make matters worse it literally had 2 slices of bacon in it. Thought things maybe better with the sausage sandwich. But nope. Just as lackluster as the first. Cold dry sausage and only 1.5 sausages in the sandwich. Dry naff cheap bread. I thought the Aldi orange sandwich load was used for toast. Not a £3.60 sandwich. Save your money and use Madisons bakery a few doors down instead. Fresh cooked bread used daily. And generous portion sizes.

   Nice cafe first time using it and food was decent price , toilets availible aswel. Food was very nice , cafe was clean no greasy smell as you walk in , it was nice and fresh , the only reason its not 5star is because the tea wasnt that good i think maybe cheap tea bags , better tea would be better it was very weak like dish water unfortently. But very nice food and very nice cafe and decent prices. Free wifi if u need it and also free parking outside for 1 hour.

   Nice cafe first time using it and food was decent price , toilets availible aswel.    Enjoyed the food here today. The chef was able to sort out my fussy omelette and wasn't bothered about it at all, just wanted to please us. The food was nice, the place was clean and the seating was comfortable.
