Found by accident as we wondered around looking for something to eat. Sandwiches were very good. I had ham salad and my other half had a toasted tuna melt. Bread lovely. We decided to try the apple pie as it looked so good. It lived up to it's looks. Devine and a little pot of real clotted cream to finish. Tea and coffee very good. Prices not too bad. Lovely staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this gem.

Beautiful food, beautiful staff, beautiful coffee. Best place on the high street for lunch. Great specials menu that’s always changing and amazing quiche and gf tart. Not going to cost an arm and a leg like every other coffee shop on the high street.

The best coffee shop on the highstreet. Absolutley love the place. Great selection of food and there are always great specials and soups on. My favourite is the soup combo which is great value for money. Great place for lunch and very speedy service even though everything is made to order and the place is always packed.

Great service even when it was incredibly busy. Best Tuna Melt I've had. The staff are really friendly and Gaynor (the owner) is lovely! My first time here, won't be the last!

Wrattens Caffe is a true hidden gem of Chislehurst High Street. In fact, it is so well hidden at the back of a clothing shop (not a bad one either by the way!) that only a few locals are aware of its existence and visit regularly. I've been delighted being one of these few for years, but this morning, enjoying an amazing chicken and bacon melt toastie with some great coffee, I felt rather sad that your typically blunt and tired Costa next door was booming with visitors, while only a few tables were taken at homey and delicious Wrattens. So here you go, time for my best-kept secret to stop being one. Give yourself the most Chislehurst experience one can think of, visit Wrattens Caffe, have a chat with its loveliest staff, have a walk around the shop while you're waiting for your food to materialize on your table. All that knowing that every penny you leave there supports the community and its people, not Coca-Cola Corp. Why, didn't you know Costa belongs to Cokes? Well, now you do, so turn left on that doorstep, choose Wrattens next time you're around!

It's like a hidden castle in a cave. Good ambience, excellent service. All the staff are much appreciated.
