I was there with my family today and we had a really good time. The staff were really welcoming and kind. The food was really good too and I highly suggest everyone to try their Paninis. Really delicious!
I went in to The Lounge on Saturday and ordered an english breakfast and a smoothie which was delicious! There was a worker called Immy who was really helpful and had excellent customer service. The smoothie she made was lovely and she was a very polite girl. Will definitely be back! :)
See photo, I just ordered. So the esimate they give is 10-25 minutes, and generally restaurants can be around 30-40, no big deal. This took just over 2 hours. For a bagel and a smashed avocado on toast. The picture is what I received paying £15 which included £.99 for delivery - the smashed avocado cost £7 and the bagel cost £6. Look at the photo and tell me if you think this is particularly edible looking or value for money. The smashed avocado on toast consists of a single piece of bread. The toast was cold. The avocado is also completely unseasononed and has bits of the pit in it, which I had to pick out. The bagel is advertised as being from Brick Lane - but those bagels are fresh. This bagel was stale. You can't tell from the photo but when you bite into it it's like cardboard. I had to throw it away and I had some cereal instead - bear this in mind because it took over 2 hours to come and I was so hungry I would have eaten anything, I literally could not eat this bagel. It was hard. Edit: Their response speaks for itself but worth noting, THE LOUNGE THEMSELVES delivered the food, NOT a delivery company/external courier.
Absolutely wonderful place! A large group of us needed an open,welcoming space with delicious well priced food & we found The Lounge! Nothing was too much trouble. We went 2 weeks on the trot as a large group they reserved the back seating for us. Such lovely ladies who served us. Friendly & caring! It's my new favourite place to eat when in the area. Thankyou ladies for both Fridays incredible lunches
Small pleasant place. My friend who introduced me to it loves her cakes and she knows her cakes. Presented beautifully. So wished I took a photo.. I see on the board they do breakfast and lunches . Don't expect a fry up
Insanely good food. So glad to have found this place. Amazing breakfast paninis on authentic Greek bread. Great selection of fresh juices too. A rare find. Will be returning very soon.
Wonderful experience. The lady serving us was both warm and friendly. We both had strawberry milkshakes which were gorgeous. My mate enjoyed her panini and I had some chocolate orange cake....oh wow it was simply divine! A lovely little place.
What a little gem in the Broadway, lovely interior makes it a welcoming space, great service and the coffee is my new favourite. Can't wait to eat myself through the menu!
