Big disappointment! Paid £25 for a ticket ti see “Uncle funk’s Christmas party “ Although the music was good, they were late starting, 8.15 then had a 20 minute break at 9pm and finished at 10.10 only to find out the bar was shut also! There wasn’t one decoration up in the hall apart from black table cloths on the tables, It was almost like a school disco even down to the cheap plastic cups the drinks were served in Not worth the £25 ticket price!!!!

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service my elderly grandmother and I received at your front desk today at approximately 2:50 pm. We visited specifically to purchase a voucher as a Christmas present, and the experience we had was far below the standard we expected. When we arrived, the woman at the desk did not acknowledge us at all. We stood waiting, unsure whether she had even noticed us, until she eventually looked up only to tell us, abruptly, that you were closing. I asked what time the desk closed, as the information online states 4 pm, and she responded, “We shut at 2, so that’s in a minute,” in a noticeably dismissive manner. My grandmother then politely asked if it was still possible to buy a voucher, and instead of assisting us in a courteous or professional way, the staff member made it clear that this was an inconvenience. She insisted she needed to finish what she was already doing before she could help us, and when she finally proceeded, she behaved as though completing the voucher was a burden—huffing, sighing, and showing no willingness to assist. All of this occurred before 2 pm, meaning she was still within her working hours and should have been available to help. While the voucher was printing, she switched off the light and placed the “closed” sign directly in front of us, despite the fact that we were still being served. It made us feel rushed, unwelcome, and frankly, quite uncomfortable. Her attitude was unprofessional, rude, and completely lacking in basic customer service. As someone accompanying an elderly person, I found her behaviour especially disappointing and inappropriate. I hope you will look into this matter seriously, as no customer—especially those who rely on a bit of patience and understanding—should be treated.

Lovely little theatre in a lovely little town. Get there early if you want free parking in the theatre car park.

Great venue! Large room for the event which a stage. The only problem was queuing for drinks took forever as there were loads of people attending the same event. I felt there could have been more staff members to cater for the event seeing that they were aware of the number of tickets sold. All in all, it was a great venue, large restaurant area, outdoor space and large toilet facilities too.

Was there last night for the adult panto show, which was AMAZING, did the meet and greet. Love this little theatre. Staff amazing, guy manager and bar staff, apart from one over excited girl who was so excited to tell everyone the rules of photography and where to stand. She was so annoying.

A great little venue for a Christmas panto. Unfortunately we were sat behind the sound engineer so our view was somewhat masked throughout the performance, but other than that great show!

We saw the Foundations who played here. A lovely trip down memorable 60's music. The theatre is clean, modern and well run after a recent face lift. Not overly large it is a comfortable venue. A good free car park adjacent

Brilliant night and the drinks were not too pricey either.

Watched a great show last night. The Real Thing performing with an absolutely superb warm up act. Peter Symphorien AKA The Soul Man.... Nice intimate venue with great staff.
