Three generations of our family have been eating here for years. This very lovely family run business always serves good quality, generously portioned, freshly prepared and cooked meals. The eggs have rich golden yolks and the sausages are the finest butchers own ... and the homemade lasagne is belissimo! My other personal favourite is the liver & bacon in a delicious gravy with mash ... yum! We highly recommend eating here :)
This is our 'go to' place for breakfast/ brunch. It's a family business and I believe in supporting local businesses. Very friendly, kind and always make you feel welcome. Very good portion sizes and definitely value for money. They always serve my cuppcinco nice and hot, unlike some cafeteria where it has been luke warm. We had family visiting over Christmas and we took them here for brunch. They thoroughly enjoyed the meal and my younger brother commented, he has not been to a lovely traditional cafe since his youth. A truly nostalgic moment for him and beautiful dining experience. Great tasting food, excellent and speedy service with a friendly and helpful attitude and smile.
Suffered from severe food poisoning after my trip here this morning and have been on the toilet more than i’ve been off it today, also paid a quid extra for a fried slice for each of the two breakfasts ordered, but didn’t get the toast or bread offered with them. Fuming.
Food always good here. Staff not the friendliest and toilets are very dark and tight to get into.
Food and service was excellent. The price is great as well. Not expensive at all. Highly recommend
Wow !!!!! tasty, affordable, the portions are simply huge, we accidentally got on the way and did not regret it, now we will pass here more often, haha
