Took my car in for an MOT that they failed for an issue with my parking brake. Took it to my usual mechanic for the repair work who couldn’t find anything wrong with the brakes. They put it through it’s Mot and passed it with only an advisory for front tyres which wear which BP autos hadn’t even flagged. Awful garage, avoid at all cost.
They were recommended by an acquaintance, booked in for an MOT, friendly staff, talked me through what needed doing to get it through a retest, I booked in for the work to be done, it was done quickly and my car feels like a new car, so happy to find a reliable local mechanic
As always, great staff, great prices, and never have any issues in over 30years. If he changes a part because you've been having problems, I don't just mean filters, then the parts are kept to show you exactly why it's been changed. Bob, Paula and the Family are always a delight to deal with.
Problem was my engine wouldn’t start, paid to be towed to another garage nearby who diagnosed the problem incorrectly which lead to a new engine-repair scare (quoting £500-2000)! Fast forward 24 hours to find BP auto, seen to my car straight away and completed proper diagnostics, fixing my car within 5 hours and for a very affordable price. Staff in there were so lovely and judgement free! Will be recommending to everyone in future!

Took my car for MOT. Lovely people, had a waiting area and offered me a drink too. Very friendly and professional. Need a few minor defects sorting which they did and wasn't expensive. Will definitely be using for future MOT'S. Thankyou guys
