   Will visit again! Lovely staff, fair prices, quick turnaround. MOT and full service completed in a day, even though they had to squeeze me into their busy schedule. Booked through their Facebook page, but when I got there, they hadn’t actually got me booked in. Despite this, they told me they’d fit my car in that day, and the MOT (including repair) and full service was complete by the end of the day. They gave me the full breakdown of costs; very transparent, friendly, and honest guys!

Best mechanic I have used by far, always been very helpful and made sure to explain and let me understand the work that needed doing, how & why. Not sure about other local garages but if you need a mechanic I strongly recommend Carl and his team!

   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a new driver/car owner, Carl and his team really looked after me when my car wouldn’t start on Boxing Day. They explained everything so well and to a standard that I would understand. They really look after you and your money and never made me feel silly for asking questions that I never understood. Diagnosed the problem and got to work ordering in parts and ensuring that I understood everything they were doing and talking me through the costs. I am beyond grateful and definitely feel secure knowing I have a local garage with knowledgeable staff that truly care for their clients. 100% recommend. Thank you Carl & Phil.

   I've been using Carl's Garage for a couple of years always found them reasonably priced with good service, so when I had a red warning light come on I rang to get booked in, despite being busy they took the car for me and as I didn't want to drive it with the light I was happy to leave it for afew days. Carl and the team diagnosed the issue and fed back to me, I was surprised by the results as it wasn't what I expected at all and to be perfectly honest I was a nightmare customer - I needed reassurance and to have the repair and the cause explained to me. Carl was amazing so patient and took the time to explain everything he went above and beyond to set my mind at ease. I highly recommend this business, mechanics who don't just go on trial and error or rip off are not that easy to find so this is a little gem in the heart of Birkenhead. Thank you so so much for everything!!!
