The staff was very rude As they have a Costa privilege card which wasn’t being scanned for some reason as it happens randomly sometimes but there is an option to do it manually but they denied doing that. Food was good though still but not happy at all with the staff.
Located inside NEXT. It's on the first floor with an escalator going up but you have to walk back down a set of stairs. I took advantage of the 'free one' offer after saving up 10 stamps in the Costa app. I took out a large latte which was made to perfection.
I was given a free cake for my birthday via the Costa App, I had a Bakewell Tart which was very nice. The large americano is very large, I didn't like huge mug with two handles.
What food?! I realiseI came in within the last 15 mins but was starving abd picked up a toasties, only to be told can't have hot food as kitchen closes half hour before closing. First off..what kitchen?!! Toasties are done in a counter top quick cooker behind the cointer and besides, they are haedly bg kitchen equipment. It wasnt advertised anywhere either but she wouldnt heat it Told her to forget the order for.coffee. disgusting. Typical of Costas level of service last few years I have found.
An excellent visit to a Costa. Efficient and friendly staff. Good service. Tales cleared & cleaned consciencely. One of the best I've experienced.
Poor quality, I'm drinking coffee everyday and I know what means a good coffee, defintly this shop is not doing by standards, they need to be trained again. This is my flatwhite, no creamy valvety milk, this is a latte!
Not our first visit. But nothing has improved. A dirty environment. Short staffed and not exactly friendly. Coffee cups dirty, chipped teapots. I asked 2 members of staff for sweeteners and both of them felt the need to go and check the stock as if not believing me. A nice touch would have been for the woman to bring some to our table while she refilled the stock right next to us. Very disappointing.
Went to Costa earlier , was greeted with a bad customer service by the so called manager ? Was spoke to abruptly! Certainly no smile or made to feel welcome ! Was given the wrong coffee even though we asked for a different one to the one we were given ! And when we asked for the correct coffee was told no we asked for that one ! After a few times of saying we asked for a different coffee the manager said well have the correct coffee as it is the same price anyway ! In not a nice manner very rude ! Then didn't even give us a receipt , so the next person making the coffee was a bit confused ! So we had 2 correct her , then the manager served the next person after us then ended up.giving us their receipt & Lids for takeaway coffee ! So not at all happy with this so called service !
