   I would rate even lower if I could. We ordered the food on Deliveroo at 1:10, and got notified at 1:31 that the rider was at the restaurant. We called them at 2:10 since it still said “preparing order” and the person who answered claimed the “rider only just arrived” and that the food will be 10 minutes, I pointed out that I can see on the app the rider has been there for 40 minutes, which he completely ignored. We finally received our food about an hour and 15 minutes after we ordered it, and the rider immediately mentioned that he’s been there for 48 minutes and the kitchen just forgot to make our order, also that they didn’t have the smoothie I ordered so they just replaced it with something else. Absolutely appalling!

   This is a great breakfast joint in the area. Over the years prices have stayed very fair. I have started coming here more than other cafes as the value and food is better to me. The staff are always friendly, food comes out quickly and piping hot. They are very respectful to senior / older customers and seem to be an important part of community. The burger breakfast is only £8.90, comes with 2 x burgers, 2 x eggs, chips and pirtion of beans. Toast and a GOOD coffee (not like the pish in coffee joints) are included which is a steal in this climate.

   A standard good quality builder's cafe with quick service. Breakfast was under £10 with a hot drink and toast included. Random point to mention, but the vinegar was really nice (reminded me of a packet of crisps), which really added to the meal. The cutlery was annoying to use. They were bulky at one end and thin at the other in a triangle shape, so when you cut with the knife, it would slip.

   £8 for breakfast left hungry as portions were small.18 chips to be exact! Paid £1.50 extra for onions which could fit in an egg cup. Wanted to upgrade the coffee to a latte and waitress refused and said I’d have to buy a separate one. Just charge more.

   Spend many a Saturday morning having brunch in Rose Cafe. Todays choice was smoked salmon, avocado and poached eggs on toast. Didn’t disappoint. Lovely food, hard working and pleasant staff. Lucky to have this cafe in our Community. Highly recommend.
