“Very nice atmosphere, nice little cafe in the park. Good for after a long walk to go there and eat. Prices and portions are very good. Under £10 for roast lamb that was nice and tender. English breakfast really good quality sausage and bacon. I was surprised at the prices. Service was quick and staff were friendly. 10/10 will go again, nice and warm inside. Dog friendly, place was clean.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here to nurse my hangover. The portions were very generous and the selection of drinks were A1. We had the super green smoothie and the apple and kiwi. I loved the decor and the funny hanging signs (especially the one by the bathroom). Come and find out for yourself!!”

“I've just got back from a lovely lunch at Coffee Bliss Cafe. From the minute we walked in, the staff we very welcoming and friendly. They even gave my 4-year old a little sweet treat on the house, which was a nice touch! The food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. This was my first visit, but I'll certainly be returning.”

“This is a great breakfast joint in the area. Over the years prices have stayed very fair. I have started coming here more than other cafes as the value and food is better to me. The staff are always friendly, food comes out quickly and piping hot. They are very respectful to senior / older customers and seem to be an important part of community. The burger breakfast is only £8.90, comes with 2 x burgers, 2 x eggs, chips and pirtion of beans. Toast and a GOOD coffee (not like the pish in coffee joints) are included which is a steal in this climate.”

“Came here today for the first time with my partner and son. Excellent customer service from All 3 staff members working there. It was very busy but they were still attentive and very helpful. The food portions were great, food quality good and breakfasts were cooked well. The prices were so reasonable too. The staff were very friendly and patient with our toddler. We will be regulars here for sure now and this place is an asset to the high street in Hornchurch.”

“Everything was really great! The room was nice with a comfortable bed and big and modern bathroom. Excellent cleaning daily. Staff was always happy to help and made a really good impression. The pub downstairs where also very friendly at had a cozy atmosphere and fun variety of evening themes. Good prices for food and drinks and again friendly service at the bar. It was also nice to see a how diverse the staff was. Usually you see only one kind of people in such staff. Here it felt like everyone was welcome. That also reflected on the guests, since you could see that they too had a good span in variety. Opening hours, times for check out and everything was just as I like it. Thank you!”

“We stopped in here for a pub lunch where we were pleasantly surprised by the professional reception we received at the door from Rose, followed by the awesome service from Sam. We also stumbled upon chicken Tuesday where all the chicken dishes are reduced to £8 which made our lunch amazing value. Hadn’t had a salad bar for a while so that was cool too and the food was very tasty!”

“I booked Shelley's for Fathers Day and was really pleased I did! I loved the new décor, especially the 'flower wall' and the beautiful mirrored pictures. The food was delicious and considering Shelley (the owner) was one man down (one of the chefs) on a busy day the service was impeccable. I ordered the chicken wings starters and lamb shank for main. All the food was piping hot and the lamb shank was so tender, it was falling off the bone. The side dishes was fairly generous! No request was too big for the waitress staff either. The restaurant was playing some fab tunes in the background, not too low and not too loud and there was plenty of room between tables, no over crowding and it was nice to walk outside if you needed some fresh air or a cigarette. I cannot wait to go back and try the pork belly and have a dessert this time (if I am not too full!) Thanks again for making Fathers day a hit for my dad and my boyfriend. Laura”

“Visiting from SE London and meeting up with a friend and this is one of the friendliest bars I’ve ever visited. Owners introduced themselves on entry and table service ensued with great discussion around the beers available. A small range of lovely Belgian beers was available this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t fault this place in any way.”
