I’m not being uptight but £5 for a mediocre caramel frappe is ridiculous. And £2 for a pup cup for my dog? A pup just is a cup half full with cream. i understand that the economy has not been good but this is a joke. I thought that going to my local coffee shop would have been better as i was supporting a small business but i would have saved money, as the pup cups in starbucks are free, but £2 for a pup cup is a joke. And the caramel frappe was alright but it was nothing special for £5.

Happened upon this place by chance. Very clean, polite service, great coffee. Cakes look tasty. Looks like a decent coffee shop to work from too in terms of atmosphere, seating, plug sockets, etc. Some outside seating for the sunny weather. There is a bit of parking allocated to the coffee shop down by the cheesemonger and DIY store.

Delicious coffee in a clean, modern environment. The barista was professional and knew his stuff, although the maybe could have been more casual given the rural environment. That being said, we liked the decor and the coffee itself was worth the visit. Food options were basic pastries but they were tasty.

Guy serving was pretty miserable, perhaps he needed help as it wasnt empty. Had I of not been with friends, I'd of taken my custom elsewhere. Pretty big inside, trendy decor. Seemed popular. Good music. Lacking atmosphere. Tea, Tetley's, milkshake ok. Plenty of drink choice.

REPLY TO YOUR ANSWER: I appreciate you looking into my order. However, I don't live locally so please pay it forward to someone else you'd like to help or make a gift to. Thanks! Passing by Ongar, saw this modern looking café on my way so decided to stop by for my morning coffee. Was expecting better tbh. Coffee wasn't too bad perhaps not hot enough, not a problem though but food was poor quality looking and tasting and not much choice. Got charged £13.20 for a flat white, a bagel and brownie; definitely overpriced! Service was good although the guy at the coffee machine wasn't as friendly as his colleague over the counter. Loads of room for improvement...

I and my husband and daughter popped in for coffees and cake. I had a vegan toasted teacake which was lovely, pity there wasn't any vegan butter to go with the vegan teacake, never mind I had jam instead. We will certainly be back. The coffees are brilliant. Great friendly staff.

This is new to us and from the look of things it's fairly new on the high street. First impressions it looks lovely, really nice from the outside and very modern on the inside, I loved the decor, the colour scheme was very relaxing and some great design touches The coffee was excellent, and we had a choice of sandwiches and cakes in a fridge, once chosen were decanted onto a plate to enjoy or of course ready for take away The carrot cake I chose was one of the best I'd tried, I think maybe midweek their maybe more sandwich choices, it was a Sunday we visited. I really enjoyed the whole experience
