   This was a corsa that was supposed to be done by this company some had been done subframe an other main bits has been missed not rubbed down Spoke to John Woods an he said because I got a third party to do it properly warranty was void and no refund but had to get my mums car done here otherwise it was a mot faliure not happy

   I recently bought a Ford Capri after searching for the right one for a number of years. I needed to find a classic car specialist who could provide servicing and repair work and who would look after the Capri In every respect. After a lot of research I was recommended to use John Woods Motorcare. I gave him a call and John booked me in for a full safety check and my list of repairs I wanted him to sort out. After having the work done to a high standard I was very satisfied with the service provided by John and his whole team. They are a great bunch of lads and have an extensive knowledge of classic cars. They have a passion for the work they do and are very friendly to boot. I would have no hesitation in recommending John to any classic car owner who wants their car looking after properly. He will go out of his way to make sure you are happy.. what a contrast to the usual main dealer approach to service. His team will be caring for my Capri from now on.    Thought long and hard about this review, extremely unhappy with service received at John Woods. When car was dropped of it was all happy faces and cups of tea work went on longer than promise but i kind of expended it. On collection of car seems they could not get me out the door any quicker, returning home i noted a few issues with car and called John Woods a few days later they did not want to help and owner did not even return my calls.I had a second party look over the car and backed up my comments about the issues so i return to John Woods with car to try and get them to look and sort issues i was greeted with"you dont know what you talking about"Then i had more members of staff in my face getting more and more passive aggressive with myself.Sorry but at my age I'm not going to have a argument with 3 work age men. Do not recommend .

   Contacted John Woods about an oil leak on my 50 year old classic. They are friendly and knowledgeable, gave fast, reliable service at a very reasonable cost. The oil leak was rectified and the car returned the next day, using a transport company recommended by the garage. Will definitely be using them again. Highly recommended for fast efficient service.

   Great service and good people who know what they are talking about. I can't praise John Woods Motorcare enough. I went for a service and they looked after me every step of the way. The service brought forward an underlying issue which the guys worked on and resolved. It turns out I had a turbo fault code which looks like it had been on the ECU for a long time. This has now been cleared and the car has a whole new lease of life. Its hard to find a garage that knows what they are talking about and that don't want to rip you off. I definitely have no quarms about going to these guys again and will recommend them to others for work they need doing. We'll done guys and thank you very much.

   Top mechanics, very friendly and couldn't be more approachable. Having recently purchased a classic car and not being mechanically knowledgable needed a local garage to confirm my new car was safe and any proactive maintenance carried out.
