   This place has an excellent coffee. Furniture is a bit shabby and needs updating and decor looks tired, but service is excellent. There is an easy going and warm vibe. Cakes looked a bit stodgy, but they had a great choice of pancakes and brunch type food, which I hope to be back to try.

   Used to be great coffee great taste, now I can hardly taste the coffee it’s just all milk. Ordered a cappuccino to takeaway made me feel sick from the amount of milk, recently returned avoiding the cappuccino this time!! Flat white is exactly the same!!! Milk milk milk!! Where’s the coffee taste , staff needs re training!! Won’t be returning!!

   Have been to BEM a few times when visiting with grandparents. Coffee was good and service fine however was shocked at the size of the babychino (pictured, obviously empty at point of picture)which couldn’t have been more than 80ml (a typical espresso cup is 60ml so being generous!) for £1.70. I understand it’s a business and mark ups etc but the coffee was reasonably priced, so was left a bit disappointed.

   I stopped by Bem Coffee recently, and it was an absolute gem of a cafe! I ordered a double espresso and a cappuccino. And both are exceptional. The double espresso was perfectly brewed- rich, bold, and smooth, with just the right amount of intensity to kickstart my day. The cappuccino was equally impressive! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. I will definitely be returning whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

   One of the best coffee shops I've been to. I come here quite often for lunch to get myself a coffee and bagel. Their food is always super yummy, even if inflation makes it feel a bit pricey. The staff are super cool and friendly so it's always a nice place to visit. If you haven't, what are you waiting for Bem!

   Great little coffee shop located in the heart of St John’s. Has a quirky style inside with a real warm and welcoming feel. The food and drinks that are served are top quality and very reasonably priced. Baby changing facilities are exceptional for such a small local coffee shop, some of the big chains could learn a thing or two! Will absolutely be retuning here in the future.

   Menu is limited. But what is made is oh, so scrumptious. The chicken mayo with extra avo bagel being one of my favourites. The staff are always friendly and kind. The atmosphere is always relaxed and fun. A place for couples, friends, and families of all ages.

   Lovely to have a local village coffee place. Coffee and cakes are good and fairly priced. There is a range of seating so someone can chill on a sofa or check emails at a table. They are always busy but try to keep it as clean and friendly as possible. Sometimes a bit too busy for the size. Parking opposite so easy to access

   We visit regularly and generally a great experience. The staff are friendly and patient with our children. Food range is reasonable given the focus on sandwiches. Coffee always good. Only issue can be how busy it gets which can make service a bit slow; but it's pretty obvious when that's going to be the case, and it's testament to what they provide that it's so popular. Thanks all!
