Worst company ever, I would never use it again. They ask for money before the trip, and after the trip.
I called for a taxi to come outside my house waiting for over 20 minutes. The driver didn't inform me where he is and why he is late. I contacted the driver he ignored my call. I contacted their office I was told the driver cleared the job and collected someone else and he's self-employed it's ok to do this? MJ16 XOH blue skoda Octivia don't use this horrendous service! Use someone else after years of using village cars I'm highly disgusted on my unfair treatment!!!
Worst taxi rank ever. Waiting 30 mins to be told to ring another service he is not coming. Then hangs up on me twice
i rang for a taxi asked how much it will cost to my house from Oldham Royal hospital. I asked how much will it cost the operator said £5.50. The drive came i took me home and took longer route, charge me £6.50. i have been driving for more than ten years so am not stupid. i feel sorry for this guy may be he needs to make an extra pound here and there.
I have been using Village cars for about 3 months solidly now - while I await on my car to be fixed, and periodically before then. Everytime I've needed a taxi, apart from once, the taxi has arrived within 5 mins. All the cars, except 1, have been immaculate and modern, and the drivers have all been friendly. This is obviously just my experience, but I have used them a lot within the last 3 months so feel my judgement is a fair one. Thank you Village Cars!
Absolutely disgraceful this taxi company!! The way they think they can speak to you. I have just had a baby my mother has been watching my little boys so she ordered a taxi at 7am for 8.30!! To phone the taxi company back when hadn’t turned up, for them to say he hadn’t requested it and she said I need to get them to school for 8.30 to be told he won’t be sending it then hung up!! My children are 4&5 it’s freezing outside and you get scum like this thinking they can talk to anyone in a disgraceful manner!! Very unprofessional and rude will not be using this company again!!
Absolutely awful service, told me to wait 15 mins for a taxi which is quite long for them but I understood as it was raining heavily and many people would be wanting a taxi. So I’m stood there waiting for 40 mins and when I call up I get attitude thrown at me and was told there are no drivers available. This may be because it was Ramadan and time to open the fast which is why nearly all of their Muslim drivers were at home opening their fast. I think a place for improvement for village cars is to hire non-Muslim drivers because it can get very frustrating when you call up and they say there’s no drivers available
Shocking do not use. I rang a cab to pick me up from hollinwood tram station after waiting 15min i rang and asked how long the cab was going to be. It was 21.15pm , i was alone feeling slightly vulnarable. The very rude operater told me i hadnt ordered a cab , i told him i had and had the call log on my phone as proof. The operator lost him temper and started shouting at me ! Absolutly disgusting. I will never use this compony again and will share my story with social media sites.
