Amazing decaf coffee and no extra charge for oat milk! Hurahh. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The bathroom has baby changing facilities and is large enough to get a pram in. Happy days

Streamlined interior exploits space/scale restraint with a sophisticated solution that still manages to convey both spaciousness and comfort. Usual contemporary βcoffee shopβ profile with little in the way of invention nor diversion - not necessarily a criticism though the βsmoothiesβ lacked a meaningful flavour identity and were at best aspirational. Service was efficient and pleasant. Toilets exemplary. Hard to find fault here, but nevertheless Iβve tried.

Kingston is my closest Local Hero and I was delighted to make a quick stop at the Teddington branch recently . I was impressed by the use of the space ( smaller than the Kingston branch )and the friendly atmosphere. The coffee was exceptional as always.

While I think the initial reaction was 'another coffee shop? at least it's not an estate agent' for most people in Teddington, Local Hero being a new addition to the high street is a dream. They've played into the fact that they're a coffee shop, and not a brunch/dinner/lunch place, and the focus on great coffee pays off with consistently great coffee. (although the pastries and small bites really are great too!) Family run with two other places in SW London, there's a range of different coffees, with all your usual oat/soy/alternative milk, with LH's house roast that makes for a great espresso - one of the only places in the area you can have a magic too (think flat white, but punchier!) Add on friendly and welcoming staff, and Local Hero is a winner for anything from a morning wake up call through to meeting a friend for a chat over a great tasting coffee. They're also dog friendly, which is a huge plus!

Great coffee and pastries, lovely ambience and friendly staff. Dog friendly and comfy seating - beautiful sunny space in the front (however tables are a little small). Clean, calm and beautifully designed. Smoothies very over priced (I think I paid something like Β£7-8?! Appreciate the ingredients that go in are expensive but I'm comparing to the rest of the fresh smoothie market here). Will return :)

I recently visited the Teddington branch of Local Hero and I have to say, their coffee never disappoints! This coffee shop has quickly become one of the best on Teddington High Street. The interiors are beautiful and the baristas are always super kind. I frequently go to their Kingston branch and I'm glad to see the same level of quality and service in this location. I tried their coffee called Magic - it's basically a cortado with four shots, and itβs just amazing! I canβt believe they've got a slightly low rating on Google Maps - they are definitely a must-visit for any coffee lover in the area.
