Great soft play. Decent size. A bit tricky for the adults as there’s lots of tunnels and crawling but the kids enjoyed it. They’ve got some things I’ve not seen before like these watches you can scan to time yourself going round and race your mates. Decent food and drink selection although the slushy machine wasn’t working when we went.

An Experience I Want to Forget The only positive was the staff, who were friendly and welcoming. Sadly, that’s where the good ended. I was excited to try β€œ4D Golf” for the first time, but the experience was dreadful. The 4D glasses were scratched and useless, so we had to discard them straight away. My children couldn’t see a thing through them. The course itself was worse β€” dark, badly lit, and with effects so poor they were almost laughable. There was nothing remotely β€œ4D” about it. Quite honestly, this was the worst Β£12 I’ve spent in Castleford. A complete waste of money. Save yourself the disappointment β€” don’t bother going.

Me and my sister had a great time doing the Xplore 4D Mini Golf of the Curse of the Mummy and Search for Altantis courses. Had a fun time completing both courses.

We had an amazing time at 4D Mini Golf with the whole family! The immersive experience was fantastic, with vibrant neon colors, cool 3D effects, and a fun layout that kept everyone entertained. It was a perfect mix of challenge and excitement for all ages, making it an unforgettable outing. The staff was friendly, and the facility was well-maintained. Highly recommend this place for families looking for a unique and enjoyable activity together!

The softplay isn’t really suitable for anyone older than 8yrs as they have a height restriction of 1.4mtrs - anyone over this isn’t allowed to play and is treated as an adult. This isn’t clear on the bookings page and we pre-paid for a child when we could have just paid the Β£1 for an adult. Seems like a very silly system and I bet a lot of people are caught out. We didn’t use the cafe but the prices seemed reasonable. We also did the two 4D golf courses. We couldn’t wear the 3D glasses they provided as the plastic lenses were all distorted and marked which made vision very difficult. When looking through the glasses it didn’t make a lot of the paintings and decorations stand out but without them everyone was illuminated bright by the UV lighting. The golf was very busy and it took over an hour to get around the Atlantis 6 holes but the mummy one upstairs was a lot quieter and the 9holes were done in half an hour. The staff weren’t overly helpful we found and even with queues only one staff member could deal with it at a time. Overall we as a family were very disappointed. It was quite an expensive day out but little enjoyment. I have been to much better centres for soft play and crazy golf.

4 stars for the soft play facilities. Lot's to do. -1 star for the food. Burger King's burger is 3 times superior. A few chips undercooked. I'll try something else next time, defo not a burger again.

Really busy but still loads of room for the little ones to run round. Loads of different paths and obstacles etx also with an under 4s area. Well maintained and mostly well behaved kids. Good experience overall.

4D golf is very poor! Couple of the hole devices were broken and didn’t spit the ball out. The 3D glasses they give you really are irrelevant and do nothing much for the experience. They also just pile people in which doesn’t help as it’s very cramped on the course if there is no filtration. The exit and entrance are the same so that stops the flow too. It was cheap but overall not a great experience

An ok soft play, it’s not the biggest and feels quite crammed in and almost clostaphobic. Prices are ok for under ones. The baby area is ok, but it’s for under 4s. Now my son is a bit more active this works fine though. What I did like is there were help buttons you could use if the under 4s area was full of over 4s jumping around.

Love taking my little girl to Xplore! Love that they still have the booking system in place and the Q outside when you've booked. Always clean and staff always friendly
