“Well, what a gem of a store. The ladies are very friendly, helpful and relaxed which is a really good thing and most of all they are happy. I really enjoy going to see them. If you park in the Orange car park they are just under half way round (going right when you enter the outlet on the left side). As a big lad, it's also brilliant for me to find that they have 4-5XL tops in stock at awesome offer prices. Thank you ladies, it is genuinely a pleasure.”

“I have been using Recent Beans for nearly 3 years now, the service is brilliant, you can tell the care, love and passion that is put in. More importantly than that the coffee selection is amazing, in scope and quality. One thing I need to add is that I have had to switch to decaf recently, and i spent ages searching for a decent Instant (to no avail) as our stock of the good stuff was used, then we switched to the Recent Beans decaf, all i can say is wow its amazing!!! So coffee lovers or decaf hunters this is the place for you I honestly can not recommend their service, there decaf or their other coffees enough”

“We visited Rockello Castleford and we were blown away by how amazing everything was! We ordered the Rockello Breakfast, two Vegetarian Breakfasts, and the Brisket Croque — every single dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into the food. To finish, we couldn’t resist the Nutella Fluff for dessert — and wow, what a treat! Sweet, indulgent, and the perfect end to a fantastic meal. There are plenty of options for all dietary needs, which is great to see. The service from start to finish was outstanding — the staff were so attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We felt really well looked after. We’ll definitely be returning soon to try more from the menu!”

“My son had his 14th birthday party here. The staff are absolutely fantastic! Polite, helpful and friendly. They work really hard, running around making sure everything is perfect, they looked after me as the parent as well as the kids. The whole party was exceptionally easy to organise and we simply had to turn up. 2 games and a pizza buffet later, we had 8 very happy boys. I can’t recommend Laserzone Castleford enough! Thank you”

“We brought around 50 people to Diggerland at the weekend, and the feedback has been incredible! All week we’ve been hearing how wonderful the day was and how outstanding the staff were. Many of our members even commented that it felt like a special autism-friendly day because of how patient, supportive, and understanding the team was. That speaks volumes about the kindness and professionalism of your staff. Despite the cold, rainy weather, your team managed to make the day feel warm, welcoming, and full of fun. “Called in for tea yesterday and not had fish n chips in a while because of the huge price increase on them, but this place has some set meals at really good prices, mini fish n chips with a side £6, a bargain in todays market and it wasn’t that mini either a really good size fish and it was bloody lovely the fish was best I’ve had in a long time. Definitely the best place in the area and will definitely be back !”

“I just went in for a bite to eat. Portion sizes for a small meal are incredible value for money. Great flavours too. Staff are polite and friendly. It's such a little gem of Castleford. Especially under it's new management. I recommend the panini and chips.”

“Been here a few times for drinks and to see bands. But unfortunately more recently for a couple of funeral wakes. The pub provided refreshments of sandwiches, quiche, sea food, sausage rolls, salad, chicken, pork pies everything you could think of. Along with scones, cakes, roulades, tea and coffee and it was all really nice.”
