Stopped in to grab a quick breakfast on a Saturday morning. They were bustling around 10am and there was a short wait to be seated (but the queue for takeaway orders was separate). I had a nice matcha latte — definitely a bit on the smaller size, but I thought it had a nice, rich flavour without being too sweet. My croissant was also very tasty — good airiness/fluffiness throughout. Always a fan of Watchhouse, would definitely recommend stopping by whether for a quick meal or a relaxing afternoon tea.

We stumbled across this café while walking down the street and we are so glad we did. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere was lovely. I ordered an iced flat white, which was perfect. The little touches, like the info sheet describing the coffee and where it’s sourced from, really make the experience stand out. A stunning café with a great vibe.

I recently visited Watch House Spitalfields, drawn in by the overwhelmingly positive reviews I had encountered. Eager to sample their coffee, my experience unfortunately fell far short of expectations. Upon entering, I was left unattended for a full five minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence. When I was finally served, the staff member promptly took my order and payment after I specified it was for takeaway. However, my wait continued, only to be interrupted by another staff member who rudely informed me that I was standing in the wrong area. I pointed out that I had been standing there for five minutes, clearly visible, without any prior guidance. His apology was abrupt, and he proceeded to reprimand the staff member who initially served me, further contributing to the unpleasant atmosphere. Overall, the service was cold and unwelcoming. The staff appeared visibly unhappy and disinterested in providing any semblance of customer service. While the aesthetics of the café were pleasing and my iced latte was decent, the poor service left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be returning. My visit was extremely disappointing.

Fantastic coffee shop with a cosy restaurant serving incredible breakfast and brunch. Coffee is consistently sensational with good milk alternatives. Really friendly and helpful service. Highly recommend the Veg brunch (I’m not vegetarian but this is incredible); usually has gluten free toast options as well

One of the best cafe, fell in love with them during the lockdown in 2020, having tried many of their blends naturally we went to their cafes. This one hidden behind the scaffolding, we managed to find them. Always coffees are great, perfect temperature and brunch menu is always reliable. My favourite is corn fritters. They have upped their sandwiches in Spitalfields location compared to the seven dials location we always go to. Can’t say enough about them. Must try.

The coffee is one the best I have ever had, so flavorful. They also have excellent tea. The breakfast items are also very good, especially the porridge. Perfect place to start the day!

No words to describe how great this place is, with a modern industrial design, I had one of the best breakfasts I had in a Café ever! I ordered a vegetarian meal, it was balanced, super rich, well seasoned, and totally delicious. The V60 single origin coffee was fantastic. All coffee orders came with small cards giving details about the coffee you are drinking. The desserts were incredible as well, especially the salted caramel tart. They also sell coffee there, the staff gave me informative, detailed explanations about the coffee I was buying, with great patience helping me choose what are the best choices for me. In general, the staff was super super nice and professional, with great care for the allergy problems we had. Can't believe there are 9 of those in London. Highly recommended, thanks for having us.

One of the best speciality coffee shops in Shoreditch. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to explaining the various beans and blends on offer. The long black I had was subtle with fruity and sour notes, quietly excellent. The outside seating is comfortable and a great place to people watch. Recommended

Ironically there is a certain prototype of a person that enters to get their takeout coffee and sit down here to enjoy the atmosphere. The atmosphere is undeniably brilliant. Very cozy with a rustic neo Nordic touch. Great selection of different kinds of cakes and brownies. Average pricing for coffees and other drinks. Had a hot chocolate. It was nice and made properly from high quality cocoa. Very decadent but perfectly mixed with the ingredient of milk. Worth a visit at least once if you’re a fan of high end coffee experiences.
