Nicely located cafe overlooking the park. However, very poor service with rude staff. Also, how do they manage to make cakes look so good yet taste so disappointingly average? I’ve had stuff from this place before and it has been amazing, but this last visit was a real let-down so won’t be going back. Tesco does better pastries than this place!

So in need of a coffee as part of my daily dose I walked into this coffee shop, typical of the area being very trendy and 'post industrial' in decor, I believed I was in for a coffee worth £3.50-£4 which would be delicious and a worthy member of the quality coffee shops in Hackney. Inside was perhaps 20 people sat dining/drinking and zero queue.....AND YET this seemed to much pressure for the worker making the coffees to do a simple latte and mocha in anything less then 12minutes......I am sympathetic to when establishments are busy, but when I can hear another customer complain there food hasn't come out with everyone else's (who had finished) and had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for what objectively takes approx 1-2 minutes for any other establishment to create I find myself not angry, just disappointed. Furthermore the main host/server/whoever was wearing the RED boots, stop floating around and maybe help your colleagues behind the counter or organize running a more efficient business. Would I go again, No. Is this a Trendy Hackneyesque place that will take your money for mediocre coffee with little redeeming qualities....yes. Definition of style over substance.

First & most likely last visit this morning with my partner… Conveniently located on the crossroads of Millfields & Chatsworth Road. Ordered a Oat Milk Latte, Berry Smoothie, Cinnamon Swirl, Blueberry & Almond Muffin + Salted Caramel Brownie… To our disappointment all but the Muffin & Smoothie were only half decent. The Oat Latte was not only a Kids size but also left a bitter & burnt taste in our mouth. Along with the off tasting brownie which resembled a burnt bbq chicken wing & not to mention the Cinnamon bun was that of equivalent to a merely seasoned cardboard box…. Lastly it was well over priced.. maybe they ought to seek local competitors pricing & quality before opening shop again & committing broad day light robbery! Cute Cat though!

Good service, perfect atmosphere and out of this world coffee. Tasted amazing, I had to up my daily intake limit by one. Could not resist.

I imagine that the only people they enjoy serving are the middle-classed, white parents. Incredibly disappointing that they said there was no space despite me pointing out several empty, clean tables. The manager walked past me several times and didn't take the time to ask whether I wanted a drink and claimed the wait to be asked this was 30 minutes when I decided to leave. This is not a place for a POC resident of Hackney

Service was great, always friendly and with a smile. I liked that they made some tables laptop free. I had the breakfast bao bun and it was amazing, those hash browns might be the best I've ever had. Great little find.

Bright and spacious cafe with outdoor seating. Breakfast menu offers slightly different things, like Turkish eggs and black beans with avocado and toasted sweet corn. They are interesting, nice, but not really something I want to have again. Cakes look really nice, might try them next time!
