Fancied having a coffee and pastry, whilst waiting for my child to finish his badminton lesson…only to find out when I arrived: it was shut! The name is under Kimko and closes at 5pm NOT 6pm!
Coffee Break feels like it hasn't moved forward from 2005, but in the best way possible. The decor is full of black and white photos of old movie stars (Charlie Chaplin, Marylin Monroe, James Dean, etc) and the corner television was running 90's music videos the entire time I had my breakfast. And the breakfast- It was beautiful. I ordered a Small English Breakfast and the portions were exactly what I needed. Don't worry, they also had a Full English. But the Small was a single egg, sausage, 2 bacon, a perfectly fried hashbrown, beans, and toast. For someone like me who loves English Breakfast but would like to move at some point later in the same day this was a great set. The service here was wonderful as well. My own plate came out perfectly but when a table nearby had a cheeseburger come out with less cheese than expected the reply from the waitress was simply, "of course, no worries, more cheese" and more cheese was added (as well as the requisite sauces). The Mediterranean and special fares are also worth trying out. The special is a Lentil Soup as I write and it smells wonderful. Overall a perfect spot just off the main road in Wood Green, and perfect for breakfast and lunch in a much quieter spot than trying more popular cafes down the high street.

My partner used to come here years ago and recently remembered the large filled savoury crepes he very much loved, so we decided to get a late lunch on Wednesday afternoon. The place is visibly older and needs a proper refurbishment or at least some touch-up. However, it has all you need from a café and the premises look clean. Customer service was welcoming and polite. Portions were massive, delicious and smoothies also tasty. Definitely recommend for a breakfast or a quick lunch break. In summary, it all perfectly fit our needs of that lazy day off: Coming to a simple family-run café for a reasonably priced lunch and smoothie. We left full and satisfied and will come back. Although it is not a 5 star establishment, they do what they do great and deserve the 5 star review for the experience we had.

This can be the one of the most affordable( by that I don't mean it's cheap) breakfast options in WoodGreen. I was thoroughly impressed by the lady's behaviour and I am a cappuccino addict if I have to put it that way. Every morning I take a cappuccino from here on my way towards college and finally I had the chance of having a full English breakfast here. The cappuccino is the best, one simply can't deny that. Also the range of cakes she offers from carrots to caramels all of them are perfect. I will rate the breakfast 7 out of 10, three points I think they don't deserve because the beans was on the sweeter side and the bacon could've been more crispy. But the whole breakfast was awesome. I look forward to visit them again for sure.

I pass by here often but only pop in when I've time to spare. The decor is pleasant, mostly based on photos of early film stars. Most of the clients are regulars from nearby offices. I usually only have a coffee, but I believe the food is good.
