Food is v average, not worth the money. Menu said 2 eggs, we were given 1. Halloumi tastes like old oil. Service - not great, asked to buy an extra piece of toast and we were told no. Had to go to front to order because wait at the table was too long

Yummy food. *Abysmal* service. The owner is slamming dishes into the sink and audibly huffing and puffing. No greeting or acknowledgement when you arrive or leave. Online order system is broken. When the food came, our napkins were soaking wet and there was a hair on my plate. By this stage we didn’t bother saying anything because all 3 staff were just β€˜on one’. Such a shame because we enjoyed the hair-free bits of our bacon paratha and the ice latte was nice. Sadly we won’t be back.

The food is good. Second time coming here now. But I feel like the atmosphere has gotten worse. Doesn’t look very appealing, outside at least. There are dead plants and a random wall with gaps. No one introduces you to a table and tells you that you need to scan a code to order etc. My napkin was wet (assuming from the wet utensils). The outside area feels like a greenhouse, it gets extremely warm when the sun is out and cold otherwise. The service and the atmosphere can be better.

Visited today and I’ve gotta say it’s probably the best cafe I’ve been to in London. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond for us (especially Ellie - they are a superstar!). Really made it a nice atmosphere and nothing was a bother. The food was top tier. The bread is proper sourdough, great quality eggs and Halloumi. Also gotta shout out the spicy beans they were out of this world! Real loose leaf tea and great coffee too. I’m gonna stop now, but I could sing their praises all day. Thanks for the great experience :)

I had the most incredible brunch at this cafe today. I’m still thinking about it late into the evening. You know when you can tell a chef has put so much care into selecting ingredients that compliment each other so well. Tomato relish and halloumi were a highlight and loved the addition of spring onions on the eggs. My only small complaint or recommendation would be my table had crumbles on it when I sat down so I think it would improve the experience if staff had wiped down the table before I sat. Will be coming again!

It’s been a pleasure to come back for the third time to this lovely cafe located in the heart of Wood Street. The brunch toasts are delicious, the place is clean and beautiful and the staff is lovely, reliable and they always have a smile on their faces.

Such a lovely local spot. Nicely done. Friendly warm staff, too. The outdoor bit out back is a nice touch as well. On top of everything, the coffee is great and the food menu is fab.The sweetcorn fritters were lush! This is the sort of local independent business that I’d urge everyone to support.

Amazing place. The owners are lovely and the coffee is simply superb. The food is delicious and great for vegetarians and vegans. I am neither of those and still love it. Free babyccinos!
