   Saturday lunchtime and lots of families around but told we had to take our baby (who was fast asleep) and sit in the back room because there was a “no children in the bar” policy. This is like something from the 80s. The backroom had the atmosphere of a broom cupboard and was filled with clutter and cleaning equipment so we left. Don’t want to spend money where we are not wanted.

   A great beer selection, unique surroundings and a novel take on the beer shop/local pub. Some food is available, mostly bar snacks which are in the realm of pizza, nachos and hot dogs. I would highly recommended this small venue if you are visiting the area as it is a quaint experience and always has a fair few characters frequenting the bar.

   Simply one of the best bottle shops and pubs I've been in. 20 lines of draft, 3 ciders, hundreds of bottles. Great snacks and crisps, reading material provided. Can't ask for more. Nigel and the team have made something really special, and I'm proud to call it my local!

   Great place where your spoilt for choice. Large choice of ales on tap and literally where do you start with the range on the shelves. Love a visit to the Maison. Sit in or takeaway. Fantastic.

   Great bottle shop and taproom. Still in a temporary location, but still a great place to visit. Staff know what they are talking about and the beer is excellent. Good selection on keg, and there is the beer cooler too.

   Nice place with a beer shop and a bar. The bar has 10 taps. The shop has 100s of beers. There's g Free WiFi. Not cheap though for the tap beers at 1.90 to 3.30 a half pint.
