Shocking service, booked my wife's car in for a service, went to pick it up and told there was and extra £110 added to the service without being informed of work being done. The person I was dealing with told me that I should have read the fine print and that he didn't have to inform me of anything. He was shouting at my wife when asked why wasn't a phone call made to be informed of work. Really unprofessional and inappropriate behaviour. Would certainly not recommend.
I have had a very positive experience here. I took my car in late afternoon with a fault. Although a busy time,it was given an initial check straight away, then booked in next day for a possible new part. I was offered a courtesy car. Soon afterwards I received a phone call to say that the problem had been isolated and fixed, so I was able to return and pick my car up. Very pleased with the service provided at a sensible cost.
I've used a number of different garages over the years and had a few bad experiences. I cant recommend Alan enough. Took my car for its MOT, really knowledgeable and friendly and was done and dusted in no time. Wouldnt go anywhere else now.
I brought my car in to Barracks as it desperately needed a look at by mechanics who know their stuff. Diagnosis done and parts ordered and fitted the next day! Can’t fault the service at all. Thank you lads!

After being told my car was fine by another garage but knowing that it wasn't, I called this garage and took it straight up to them. Within a couple of hours they had found the fault missed by the other garage, got replacement parts ordered and fitted and got me on my way again. Extremely impressed with the friendly and professional service. Would definitely recommend.
I am absolutely delighted to fully recommend this great garage and the mechanic , I think his name is Alan. After obtaining many quotes of serious money, I simply drove in this proper garage, the fault was quickly diagnosed, and the repair was nearly half the price !! Using the same new parts, wow !!
