Staff are very friendly, I felt very welcome! Our waitress Summer was so delightful to be around and she made sure we got our food warm & promptly. I would recommend this pub.

We just returned from an absolutely delightful meal at Ye Olde Greene Manne, and I can’t recommend this charming pub highly enough! Nestled in the picturesque Batchworth Heath, this historic gem offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere paired with exceptional food and service. The menu was a perfect blend of classic British dishes and creative specials, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was a treat, with flavors that were both comforting and refined. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home, adding to the overall wonderful experience. The cozy, traditional ambiance, complete with its historic charm, made our visit truly memorable.Whether you're local or just passing through Rickmansworth, Ye Olde Greene Manne is a must-visit for a fantastic meal in a delightful setting. We’ll definitely be back!

I’m a vegetarian and noted options were minimal on lunch menu- so I ordered from the mainstream menu. Very unfortunately the vegetable - watercress was wilted served with my starter looking very bad. Then with my mains cottage pie which was on the dry side and the vegetables - cabbage and peas and parsnip& carrots were dry n hard. Thankfully my partner’s lasagna served with salad was good - so was the dessert n it was my partner’s birthday the staff surprised us with a small slice of chocolate cake. This was good. I found out from a previous guest who frequently visited this pub that food is brought in and not cooked at the premises! They have stopped visiting this pub.

Warm welcome? Not a chance. Staff are too busy to say Hi or to help. Infact 5 members of staff around the bar could not point me and my family to a table for 12 minutes. It's customer service at its worse. We arrived at 4.15pm for our 4.15pm booking. We are told to wait. Multiple members of staff go past us, no other customers waiting to be seated, circa 5 free tables, yet we waited 12 minutes, only for a waitress to nod a signal to let us know we can sit at the table she just wiped, and left wet! At 4.31pm we asked a waitress if we can order starters - none of the staff are interested in serving you until you call them and even then you feel like you've asked for a miracle.A random waitress tells us that Rachel will come and take our order. Order is eventually taken by Rachel. The food is very good. Fish is outstanding and chips were a tad undercooked. Chirzo is outstanding, calamari is NOT very good. Look at the photos, it's poor at over £7. But the entire experience is ruined with rude, misserable and unhelpful staff who clearly need customer service training. Upon exit I ask who the manager is. Shaun tells me that he is the manager but does not proceed to enquire as to why I am asking. Whilst we were there, the table next to us gets drink delivered a long time after ordering with an appology from Shaun and I beleive on the house. In a seperate instance a lady is complaining around 4 members of staff at the bar. Whilst the fish was outstanding, £85 for 2 adults and 1 child is not worth the money for service which is absolutely pathetic at best. I would reccomend that the owner provides customer service training to all staff, including endeavours to ensure that ALL custoners receive a warm welcome with better communication and, god forbid, a smile!

First time visit. Very cosy pub. We ordered two starters each for four people, along with mini dessert, including hot drinks. Food very tasty. Staff were polite and accommodating towards our needs and had a chuckle at our order. It's quite different for me but enjoyable. There are plenty of car parking spaces. Would definitely go again and recommend a visit.

Totally delicious lunch! Restaurant was very busy with festive groups but this did not impact on the service provided. Lovely staff who were attentive, friendly and professional. We ate from the festive menu and the food was excellent. My friend said it was the best pork belly she had ever had in a restaurant and my turkey was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

Ample parking available. Loved the ambience. The lady who served us was lovely. She was happy to recommend the wine and food. We will definitely make our way back.

Lovely pub, food was OK but the mains are rather dinky if your looking for a fill - not the place.

Best burger I have eaten in a long time. Coffee was very good. Brownie dessert was delicious. Service was quick and friendly from what appeared to be only 1 guy working the tables. Very impressive. Very pleased we booked this place for our work Xmas lunch!
