Very expensive bought a can of beer with 25% reduction was £8.50 that means full price £11.33 for a can of beer. Complete rip off first time never again. Lived in Ricky 45 years right up there top 3 rip offs.

A great place to pop into along the High street, friendly service, fantastic well kept craft beer and real cider, there is even a gravity fed Real Ale at a very reasonable £5.50 a pint! The choices are constantly changing and the owner tries to keep them as local as possible. A good variety of bar snacks are available along with an extensive collection of bottled and canned drinks to takeaway or enjoy on the premises. A real drinking gem in the county of Hertfordshire.

Just popped in for a couple of drinks and wow what a great place with fab beer. Definitely the best place in ricky for a great beer. Mia who works there was super friendly and knowledgeable about all the beers stocked. If you are looking for great craft beer and fab service, look no further.

This place has quickly become one of my favourite spots. As a boater I pass through every so often, and always make sure to pop in to see what's on tap! The atmosphere is always very friendly and the staff are consistently polite and charming. An excellent selection of interesting beer with a cosy atmosphere even more in cans or bottles. Perfect for beer aficionados or just a casual evening

Can't believe I have never reviewed this place. Consistently quality service, music and obviously beers. 8 craft on draught, and cask option plus bottle cans available. Every time we come through this town this is one of the many highlights. Close to trainline which is both Metropolitan tube to/from London and Chiltern Rail to other places etc... Recommended

Been coming here on and off since it opened, always a decent draught beer selection and owner is welcoming. Draught beer is reasonably priced but the bottles are very expensive indeed!

A small bottle shop and taproom, wide variety of interesting beers and lagers on offer and very friendly staff. You can try a number of beers in 1/3 pint measures, so I enjoyed trying out different beer styles

Wow what a find! After a lovely walk down the canal and across the open fields, this is definitely the place I recommend to unwind. As the sign suggests, this is both a "bottleshop" and a "taproom". For anyone who follows Danny Bhoy, this is the opportunity to take part in the "bottleshop" culture :) On a more serious note, Wishful Drinking provides a selection of beverages (beers and ciders) from small breweries at an excellent price! Very friendly staff and outdoor seating - what more could one want to relax those tired legs for a while. Highly recommended!!
