First visit to this pub today to meet friends, one of the best haddock and chips meals ever, plus apple crumble and a generous two dollops of vanilla ice cream finishing with an americano. Clean cutlery etc and friendly staff. Nothing less than 5 stars for this visit and we hope to meet there again in 2026.

An incredibly honest little pub. Happy hour going on for so long is so nice and it’s never too busy on the weekdays. A good place to go with your mates or family for a quiet pint. Avoid when busy but it’s got great atmosphere, the bathrooms are well looked after and the seating is quite nice. I am a local and it really brings this community together. Old and young can enjoy the pub. The service is great, the televisions are nice although it’s more background noise for me rather than something to watch. I can imagine it is very fun when a big game happens! I only wish there was a little more seating near the dart board and have the darts be an occasional event, when I went in, it was a lot of empty space with no one playing darts so it felt under-utilised. Other than that, still a fantastic little place.

Lovely little pub, the staff are lovely and friendly. (Especially the lady with the cute tiny dog, I dont know your name sorry). Great happy hour deals, the ladies WC is always spotless and the attentions to detail are great. Weekend pizza is definitely a hit. Only wish would be more outside seating at the front but space is obviously limited so not their fault, rear garden space is nice just a but chillier than the front. Have not tried any other food just yet. Never seen any issues with other patrons. Good selection of drinks. Grateful to have such a lovely place to visit within walking distance ✨️

A fantastic little boozer, handy for a walk along the Grand Union Canal. Friendly service and extremely well kept cask ales. If you catch the Happy Hour, £4 for a pint is a bargain!

Excellent local pub in Nice small town. Great feature is they do not give you the first out of the pipes after a session so all the drafts are fresh which is good to know. Nice friendly people in there too. Also seem very proud of their real ales.
